Thank you LG Arcee for coming into my life, otherwise I'd be buying that Earthrise joke of an Arcee.

Thank you LG Arcee for coming into my life, otherwise I'd be buying that Earthrise joke of an Arcee.
Well it would be better than the 3rd Party Add-on for Fans Toys Rogue (NSFW if you end up googling it).
I actually really like the robot mode once you remove (AND THROW AWAY!) the backpack. But LG and 30th Generations Arcee remains my favourite. It?s a fun intuitive transformation, and she actually has weapon storage in vehicle mode. I recall reading that the designing originally was a fan, and built a custom one many years earlier. You can?t improve on that kind of passion and she was the ?perfect? Arcee for me
The more and more I see in hand pics of ER Arcee the less I want it. I always felt the Takara Legends was the better Arcee but I was willing to get Earthrise as it's taller and would scale better with my CHUG figures, but I'm not even interested anymore.
Goes to show newer isn't always better. :)
Straightening a paperclip is a more inspired 'transformation'.
Here's hoping a 3P company will release an upgrade kit of sorts.
Does anyone know where you can buy the double packs from? The clones and jet dudes?
RK has them, but postage is way too much
For those who missed it in the Australian News section...
Quote:
And now the bad news - the following items are NOT coming here to retailers (some independent online stores may import their own stock)...
- WFC-29 Seeker 2-pack
- WFC-30 Clones 2-pack
- WFC-GS18 Autobot Tigertrack
- Centurion Drone (grey Siege Brunt) with weapons pack
- Alternate Universe Optimus (grey redeco)
Over in Singapore (and probably other Hasbro Asia countries), there is a promotion for Earthrise, that has a really nice bonus item given out with the purchase of Leader class Earthrise toys - a lovely display box (for a Leader class toy) with poster (signed, by the netflix voice actors I guess), a WFC pin, and a cardboard background diorama display.
It's a really nice freebie, and I wish those sorts of Hasbro Asia freebies came here.
Earthrise Bluestreak has been floating around the rumours listing for a little while, and now we have an image of the toy in packaging.
It has the number WFC-E32, which is right in the middle of a block of exclusives (on our toy listing here), and it was already found on a couple of Amazon sites in Europe, so is likely to be another Amazon exclusive. (which doesn't look like will be coming here)
Bluestreak still hasn't been officially revealed yet, but now we also have official images of the toy and box.

Also, official images of the 3rd wave of Earthrise Deluxe toys, in and out of packaging (more images at the link).

This image of Sunstreaker looks really really bad... the parts don't look to be joining properly, and that colour difference with the yellows, because of what looks to be different types of plastic.

I was passing on Sunstreaker anyway, but that yellow difference is a bit of a yikes. Trailbreaker and Runamuck looking fresh though.
In-hand images of wave 3 DLX Runamuck, from a youtube video.
I'm really hanging out for Sunstreaker and at least one of the Earthen Datsun Bros molds. The WFCS version of those characters was pretty poor, but that skeleton looks much better dressed up with some real world car bits.
Sunstreak looks disappointing, they should have used a plastic with a bit more gloss in it to make the yellow pop more. Yellow is always a tough color to get right with paint/plastics.
Official images of Runabout have been accidentally released with Runamuck, before it has been officially revealed by Hasbro... which we still don't know if it will be a wave 4 release, or a store exclusive.

My pre-order of Bluestreak got cancelled at Oh My Primus die to not enough stock. Does anyone know if any Australian stores are selling him? I can't find him anywhere.
I know the bros can get confusing but it's Smokescreen that is in wave 2. Bluestreak is some stupid exclusive figure.
:)
Praying Runabout is not an exclusive. The Battlechargers have been done dirty so many times already in terms of exclusivity/elucivity, with these seemingly pretty definitive versions it would break my little heart.
Bluestreak has now been found at retail in America, and ended up being a Walgreens exclusive, which was one of the possible retailers back when it was first discovered (and has now been out in Asia for a little while).
It is US$20.
It will be released by TakaraTomy next year, as a third and final chance to get it.
Images of the unreleased Earthrise Barricade toy (redeco Prowl) in-hand by one of the recent sources of "leaked" toys... which is still yet to be announced how and where (and when) it is being released.
Wave 3 including Quintesson pit of judgement out in Asia!!:mad::mad:
Thought the pit of judgement was a very rare exclusive?

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH
I create an account at Anime Export to pre-order Bluestreak and I find out he is sold out.
:'(
Hasbro are making me so annoyed. Has anyone found anywhere else that we can pre-order Bluestreak and the Seekers?
With all of the Earthrise toys now released, some people have now completed the Map that had pieces packed with each of the toys (except maybe the piece that would have been with WFC-E28, which didn't get released... unless it was cancelled early enough to not have a map piece held for it).
A video review of Thrust includes a look at the completed map (at the 4 minute mark).... with some really bad (excessive) lighting that makes it really difficult to watch... but the review of the map talks about how the map pieces have a lot of mistakes. Almost like Hasbro re-did the map after the cancellation of the E-28, but didn't fix all of the parts, or was too late to fix the earlier pieces without realising it was too late.
Plus, the map itself is oddly shaped to one corner, and parts being printed on different mediums (thick card, thin card) has resulted in slightly different sizes of the pieces, leading to gaps in the map, as well as different shades and resolutions.
The person doing this review has framed the entire map, which would make a good poster if Hasbro did release it in full, without the errors. (but not a great poster IMO, as it is very dark with limited colourings, and most of the details are intentionally hidden so that you have to use a red decoder... and if you covered the entire poster in red before framing it, it would then ruin the rest of the poster by obscuring the blues and blacks of the "star chart".
On the map there's a planet next to Caminus that cannot be identified. I wonder if that's Planet X?
