It's a sad day today, last night Aussie Actor Andy Whitfield (Better known for his role as Spartacus) died yesterday of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (Stage 4 Cancer). :(
Here is a report courtesy of news.com.au:

ANDY Whitfield, the 39-year-old star of the cable series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, has died in Sydney.
Manager Sam Maydew said Whitfield died yesterday of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Whitfield's wife Vashti in a statement called her husband a "beautiful young warrior" who died on a "sunny Sydney morning" in the "arms of his loving wife".
Whitfield - who was born in Wales and lived in Australia - was a virtual unknown when he was cast as the title hero in Spartacus, a hit original TV series that made waves with its graphic violence and sexuality.
Whitfield was preparing for the second season when he was diagnosed 18 months ago.
Australian actor Liam McIntyre took over the role this year.
So sad, I thought he was getting better :(
Also starred in Gabriel which I didnt realise RIP
Just watched the entire run of 'Torchwood : Miracle Day'
Was okay, had a really good premise but could have been shorter.
I just started watching Charlies Angels:p
I didn't really I was just making a joke about it getting canned after 4 episodes
Been watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Community now that the seasons have started up again.
Not too sure if its Community's last season but I know its gonna be Philly's :(
a reminder season 2 of walking dead has started!
Just completed the whole run of 'Torchwood - Children of Earth'. It's an amazing mini-series that every Sci-Fan should watch. However, it's so damn depressing once you get to the end :(:(
the only shows I watch on a weekly basis are Castle, Bigbang theory, Person of interest and Supernatual.
Theres also Ep daily, and some other shows but those 1st 4 are part of my weekly schedule.
Wow what a mid season cliffhanger for The Walking Dead!
It was okay... sadly one of the best episodes this season. Season 2 so far has a noticeable drop in quality compared to season 1 IMO. (Although overall I prefer the comic)
The only show that I was watching was Breaking Bad which was IMO one of the best U.S. TV shows, and recently,The Walking Dead replacing its time slot. Now that the season has ended and uni has finished, I'm going to be catching up on these series that have been recommended to me:
-Boardwalk Empire
-Games of Throne
-Mad Men
Any other good shows people can recommend? Any good recent BBC stuff?
Has anyone seen any of the series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil? Happened across it the other day on YouTube and it looks pretty damn cool, don't watch much TV but I think I'll give this one a go. :)
Final of Walking Dead season 2 tomorrow night. Just when the series was getting interesting too :(
I started watching the first series of this the other day, but, having read (and loved) the first 92 issues of the comic book I'm not going to continue.
What I did find however was that my enjoyment of the first episode increased incredibly when I made my TV black and white. It felt more like the book and the makeup effects seemed more realistic.
I'm a huge fan of American Pickers and Hardcore Pawn :) Those are the only shows I watch on TV
pawnstars tonite has a bloke trying to sell his entire tf collection it's on A&E right now austar and foxtel(S4Ep6)

I've been watching a rip of Knight Rider recently - man i loved that show as a kid! But the reason i'm posting is, does anyone remember a similar show or movie that had a motorbike as the main character (that also spoke like KITT)? It's been bugging the shit out of me for years and i've never been able to remember it, watched it maybe once with a friend eons ago!
Not so sure about a bike, but I remember a very similar show called Viper. :o
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088618/
Could that be what you are looking for?
can't wait.
yeah. they always find some interesting stuff:) the hardcore pawn guys shit me a bit... damned squeezers. i like the guys in pawn stars a little better.
At least the Picker guys give back to the owner if they pick something of real value... sometimes
I love the crazys that rock up into that store. That alone makes it watchable. Working retail, it's something I can relate to, obviously it would be worse if he had a TV crew in the shop. (shudders)
I have no idea how a family run/ owned business still allows childish fighting all the time as that show portrays. Then it IS reality TV so it's probably scripted, much like Pawn Stars has scripted parts in it.
I love watching those shows, watch them whenever I am at home, or remember it's on :p
It's amazing some of the stuff they find.
My dad has been telling me to watch that show, he says it's great.
Lately I watched Community Season 1 and 2, and could not stop laughing. Love that show. Can't wait to get season 3
Guys.
Archer.
It's so good it's approaching the... danger zone!
Just like the gypsy woman said.
Seriously though, watch this. The banter is sublime.
Archer is golden.
S3 of community makes me sad, wtf happened!?
Bought series one of Lars von Trier's The Kingdom. Very excited to get stuck into this one. Here's Amazon's brief write-up on it:

On a lighter note we got 3 seasons of Modern Family a couple of weeks ago and have just started season 3. I love Ed O'Neils dry wit. Only problem is there are too many funny one liners to remember:D
I still watch all of them if they're on.
it's pretty much pawn stars
hardcore pawn
american pickers
swamp people ,if i get stuck.
jail
cops
adult only cops. (any reality cop shows, or if there is any chance of a tazing i'll watch it)
i can't stomach those repo shows
and now, game of thrones is the one i hang out for . looking forward to seeing some (deserving) heads rolling... (though i think it will be a while) ,good guys are getting knocked off left ,right and centre.
Finished watching the first season of The Kingdom last night (4 X 4hr eps) and it is totally freakin' epic!! It's definitely Denmark's answer to Twin Peaks albeit with more humour and a style reminiscent of Peter Jackson's early films. I love the little segments with the two down syndrome kids shown every now and again, their inclusion is so bizarre yet such a stroke of brilliance!
What is really strange though...I started watching The Kingdom (keeping in mind this is a show about a ****ed up hospital) the same night I actually ended up in hospital due to back/chest probs. If the hospital wasn't so well lit it would have been a pretty freaky experience!! I hope that doesn't mean the next time I watch Rec someone starts boarding up my house and...Okay, gettin paranoid now. :p
