Hi thread :)

I have NO IDEA if you guys can assist, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

Ever since the spawn soundtrack, I have had a taste for the type of Industrial music featured on that.

As much as I love that album, it has become a little dated for me, and looking for some more recent stuff...

I downloaded some Dutch darkcore compilation - a little too rough, and not what I thought it would be.

A friend gave me the Apocalypse remix of A Perfect Circle's 'Outsider' recently, which is just phenomenal!!

So any chance you guys to point in the right direction of something similar?

Wow, quite a few on that list that I know.

Most seem to be heavy metal bands doing collaborations with djs, so it could go either way.

What other bands are you into? I mean, I know a number of industrial bands (Static-X, Rammstein, Knorkator...)

Hey Gantz, I can recommend another Soundtrack,
Queen Of the Damned, it's got the same sort of feel to it with Guys Like Disturbed, Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Static X and others. It does have more of a Goth feel to it but if you Dig the Spawn soundtrack then you might enjoy QOTD's music.

Please don't watch the film, it's awful but the music is awesome.

I too dig his newest album, it's only Educated Horses that I pretend that doesn't exist. :o:p

I'm not too well schooled on NIN apart from what Trent did for the Quake and Doom series of games, I do like that song where the Video has a pulsating Heart in it - I dig the 90's Alternative Genre. :cool:

My favourite KMFDM song is: Juke, Joint, Jezebel - It was the marketing song for the original Mortal Kombat movie and the video clip ran before the feature on the old VHS tapes. :D
(I dig the hell out of that screaming Riff during the chorus, man it is awesome! :D)

I loved that PSX game so I'm going to have to check out that track you mentioned to see if it invigorates my memory. :p

Yeah Im grabbing the 2 most recent KMFDM albums to begin with, Greatest Shit and Wurst :)

Just on Zombie for a second, see Im the guy in the group that digs most albums other dudes dont, e.g. Educated Horses, must've been an odd time in my life, but I just loved that album :(

The Stabbing Westward track I was speaking off was from the opening scene of the Duke game.

Also, if you can find it (and in my all-time top 5 albums) Black Labs Technologie, very Industrial and kinda, for want of a better term, dancey.

Ah very good, yeah they've been around for ages but there is a very good reason for that. ;)

There is nothing wrong with liking things that others don't dude - In the case of Zombie, the only song I really even liked on that record was the title track and because I only really liked 1 song off of it I tend to just forget about the whole thing. :o
I found his 1st 2 and Latest Albums to be far more consistent in quality and writing but that is purely my opinion, don't let that stop you from enjoying Educated Horses. :cool:

On another note, those who love dirty rock & roll in the vein of Motorhead and Monster Magnet should check this out. Chrome Division, great band, and I like the new singer as well as the old singer.

The new Five Finger Death Punch album (due September) now has a title - "American Capitalist". The first single "Under And Over It" will debut online on July 27th.

Always great to have a new release of your favourite band, I was the same when I heard Immortal were releasing a new album, was so excited. There are a few albums I am excited for as well taht are out, I just don't have the funds for them atm, but soon I will :D:D:D
