Is it possible to read the comic online?
Printable View
Yes. You can just get it as a single issue and it doesn't need to be read in the context of the larger background story.
I've just seen Encore Bruticus and Henkei Galvatron listed as Bluetecas and Gurauvatron respectively. Are these their Japanese names or is it just Engrish?
Any legit answers for my q?

Sorry...for some stupid reason I read your question as, 'Is it possible to read it alone'. I'm not sure if it's online anywhere. I don't think so.
I actually think my answer is the right one as there were so many other plotholes through the movie. Of course a later comic may retcon it to come up with something more plausible.Quote:

Engrish. Bruticus and Galvatron's Japanese names are the same as their Anglophone names. Heh, I remember in 1998 when online stores were selling Stampy as "Stumpy." :pQuote:

Is it an express item? Because I've had nothing but trouble from that dodgy service. I've always found registered/priority and even standard airmail to be so much more reliable and cheaper, even if you have to wait an extra couple of days.
I hate express tracking to bits, it's only good half the time. Every other time items are either apparently "in transit" (which for some reason, is a 6 day process sometimes) or sitting in customs. I had to wait 2 weeks for my g1 ultra magnus bc they wouldn't release it.
So basically, given that piece of tracking info you've got - anything can happen. If it's outdated, maybe it's already been passed onto the auspost couriers or still sitting in the sorting centre.
Have you tried checking your tracking number using the host country postal service website (i.e usps.com if it's from the states) as well as the australia post tracking page? They usually have different results, which can sometimes let you know where it REALLY is.
whats your gun runner (dune runner)like?
my arm just snapped off for no reason:mad::(:mad: f you hasbro and your cheap plastic!!
Take it back to the store you bought it from for a replacement. You are entitled to one if a product is faulty, especially from just one play with it.
and now my scalpel lil clear plastic arm came off i cant put it back on
help??
but ive already opened it, will they still replace it?
Yes, they should, because it was defective.
ok i shall try it tomorrow
Thanks dd, griff & lp!
Thanks for the tips. I've had to use RK's Hong Kong Post tracking. It's now "in transit" but my post office box closed at 930am so I will have to wait until Monday to pick them up, assuming they will get there today.
do you think hasbro will redeem themselves with long haul? ...grrrrr
on the positive side my scalpel has no cracks...
I'm a little confused about the EZ/Legends Devastator.
It is a japanese exclusive, or will the seperate components be released here in Australia?
For now it's only out in Japan, but it will probably be released by Hasbro later.
Yowzers! Glad I imported mine then! (O_o)
Just viewing Rampages' new acquistions and it made me wonder: are the new ROTF Robot Replicas available locally? I've not noticed them in the shops or many people posting acquistions of them.
I haven't heard anyone seeing them locally. They aren't high demand figures, and retailers here (at Toyfair) probably questioned the point of having non-convertable Transformers (r) priced the same as convertable Transformers of the same size. THe gimmick with Gravity Bots sold themselves to retailers, despite the pricing, but Robot Replicas were shelfwarmers with TF1, so probably were avoided by retailers this time around.
I know its a long shot but does anyone know any online stores to pick up classics ultra magnus and city commander set? I can probably find the city commander set, most of the battle is finding a damn ultra magnus figure.
Does anyone else think that TFA Samurai Prowl is completely and utter pwned by the frist regular TFA Prowl?
Is there some sort of trick to get the armour/sidecar to stay in place on his back in 'bot mode?
I've only had him a day but I am less than impressed by the armour that just seems to hang on in a heaven-forbid-you-should-actually-touch-him type fashion.

I'm thinking about trying to get some Armada toys when I eventually end up on eBay. They just look so darn fun to play with. I'm curious about what are considered to be the better toys from that era.
I'm contemplating Jetfire, Starscream, and possible Superpants Prime at the moment, mainly for design-related reasons.
Most of the boxed Armada toys aren't that fun to play with. Their articulation is often hindered by being loaded with gimmicks. Superpants Prime is a block... nearly as bricky as Powermaster Optimus Prime, which by 2003 standards is atrocious. The automatic transforming trailer gimmick gets old quick. (-_-) Some of the Deluxes are okay (but not astounding). I actually find the most interesting toys from Armada were the Mini-Cons! :) They're like Micromasters but with better more contemporary engineering.
I think it's best to check out someone else's Armada toys before deciding on whether or not you want to collect them yourself. Try before you buy as they say. :)
From the August Acquisitions thread:
Convenience factor. Reissues are easier and cheaper to get. Easy as that. And in most cases the quality is fairly good. Bruticus would be exceptional because that mould's been overused since CR/RiD. For me, I already _have_ the original Combaticons, but I'm missing accessories and gestalt parts. Getting reissues is a LOT cheaper than if I tried to get all those individual accessories as originals. Also far less effort and time consuming too (hunting down little parts and accessories is a pain).Quote:

And yeah, you're probably the only one who likes Scavenger. I love his MiniCon (and nabbed one 2nd hand!).
Well there's quite a lot actually - since minicons started in Armada but have been incorporated in other lines (Universe 1.0, Energon, Cybertron and Classics)
I just get all hehehe. but to start with you might wanna try... oh if you get the chance to get X dimension version ( basically recolours - same mold - Japanese versions - better paint jobs)
Air defense team - 2 planes and shuttle (like) which have the combined form of the Star Sabre
- X Dimension version has em in red and orange hues - combined form Fire Sabre
- Energon version has em with added stylings and in clear yellow color - Energon sabre
Air military Team - 3 planes which are 3ple changers - they each have a weapon alt mode besides plane and can be equipped to bigger bots as blades, guns, bladed shield...
- X dimension has em in mostly black stealth colours
Emergency team - Fire engine, police car and a double rotor copter - same as the Air military team have a 3rd mode which transforms them into weapons the other bigbots can use.
Overload - he's not sold as a minicon but he is. This guy has a big trailer which forms his armoured body. The minicon truck becomes the head and serves as the cab truck pulling the trailer - which also has a minirobot mode. This trailer can combine to Armada Prime to provide extra armour /firepower.
There's heaps of em but start with these guys and see if youll enjoy em. I have 93 of em :D almost a tenth of my collection population and I like em a lot....
I like the look of the air defence team, particularly the orbital plane one (Sonar?).
Thinking of which, of the recent Transformers with fist holes, can they hold the Star Sabre?
