1AZRAEL1, I finally got around to listening to Diablo Swing Orchestra and they're quite good although I'm not a fan of the operatic vocals. I prefer Tarja Turunen/Simone Simons/Fleur Jansen when it comes to opera and metal fusion.
They are unique. I only own one album. When it comes to operatic vocals, Therion are top imo. Folk metal band Alkonost too has some great combination of operatic female vocals with male death metal vocals. A song like Waiting, is a good one to start on. Their earlier stuff is better, preferred the female vocalist then. But still like their newer stuff too.Quote:
