Man, it would be really cool if Hasbro could do that, even as an item aimed at collectors. Though they might be a bit wary since the, uh, success of the Seacons. But are you sure you wouldn't rather have another Predaking instead? :p

Yeah, I think that was the one I kept watching, back when I was still looking for a Botcon Breakdown.
A regular one would only get about $500... there's no way a defective one is going to get $1200.
(and his doesn't have the BotCon sticker on it, so can't be claimed to be a "mint Botcon" version either)

Never mind, I just did a search and apparently the toy company used the exact same mold they used to make the robotech toys to make the toy. They just gave it a different paint job.
Has a toy ever been released that actually looks like the skyfire we see in the original cartoon?
