The VF-1J retails for ¥5,500. The VF-19 retails for ¥7000. Not sure what pre-order discounts I received.
This is an example of a Tamashi exclusive VF-1J at ¥10500. Roughly the same price as a 1/60.

Besides the approximate release date and ¥17000 RRP there is no new info for the reissue. Depends on what you paid for the set and how happy you are with it. The super parts must be reasonably hard to come across by now in themselves.
That was without shipping. After the first VF-1J release I lost interest in the 1/100 line, so I couldn't tell you off-hand. And I tend to get the Bandai and Toynami 1/100 releases confused.
I can bring a 1/60 to the Feb Parra Fair if you want to check it out first hand.
It's ok, I bought I think 1/60 versions from Fungal I awhile back. The Toynami ones are definitely cheaper. :)
The High metal VF-1A near $90 is a bit steep for me. I did see one of those VF-IJ exclusives. But since my 1/60 version is already VF-IJ, I wasn't interested.
How about that VF-1S Roy F "Do you remember love?" that one of the members here is selling, is that version 2?
BANDAI have updated their Tamashi site to officially announce the YF-29 re-issue in May.
Pre-orders should go up soon.

That's a ver 1. Honestly, I'd avoid it unless you prefer the fighter mode. The gerwalk and battroid are awful. Especially the 1S, it has a squashed looking head. Take a look at the TV reissue. It's not the DYRL version, but still really nice.
Yeah, that's a vintage 1/55 in pretty good condition. Similar to the BANDAI Transformers G1 Jetfire.Quote:
