You might get a better deal finding one of the games that comes bundled with one and then selling the game. ie Wii Party U + Remote preowned for $34

Yeah that's pretty good. Thanks! :)
Amiami have the Yoshi wiimote for ¥3700
Picked up Sonic Racing last week from EB Games for 20 something bucks. I'm impressed with the gameplay. Plenty of modes, good controls and challenging.
Also traded in a few crap games (Watch Dogs included) for Mario Kart 8. I wasn't in a rush to get this as i had plenty of other games to try and finish first. But i caved in as the kids wanted it. Probably the best in the series IMO. I quickly cleaned up the 50cc Grand Prix's but then got my arse kicked trying the 150cc. I think i need more fine tuning.
Also downloaded Wii U Party as the free game that you get with Mario Kart. I had already owned/played about 7 of the 10 games you get to choose from. It's a good game to play with kids and the wife got a bit competitive with me while playing and wouldn't go to bed until she had beat me a few times. It was a late night that night.
Yeah i'll try using the bigger characters. I'm a light weight kinda-guy (koopa, toad).
It's over-rated, and the PS3 graphics are along the lines of Saints Row 2 quality. Dull textures, car physics are extremely arcade-y, guns can't be fired while you're driving. The idea is new, and it's fun for the first few hours. But every story mission, side mission and collectable is the same. Sneak in, hack, escape.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the Wii U version. They've already delayed it, saying they're going to make it the best version possible, and hopefully the graphics are better then the last gen versions.
Marion Kart 8 has me doing something I've not considered since the days of the N64. I'm considering buying a Nintendo.
It looks that good.
Played some wolfenstein on PC this evening, it's one heck of a pretty game, controls well and had an interesting story from the few hours I saw.
I am struggling with mariokart 150cc, I have found that once I got used to the heavyweight class it helped a bit as they are almost impossible to knock around. I constantly win 3 races, only to get absolutely murdered in the 4th, I've even tried the hang back method to no avail. It's driving me bonkers!

If they do it right, I believe that it has the potential to be the best version. That would be sick if you could fully utilise the game pad for it. But for pc gamers, I hear someone hacked it and all the original textures and shadows that they first showed off at (was it E3?) are still on the disc. You can download the patch for it and I hear it is heaps better eye candy... I almost built a gaming pc yesterday, so close but then I chickened out because of the price. But I'd love to one day..
