Having the OTCA logo smaller like that is nice. It now doesn't take 1/3 of my screen when I log on. Will there be any other changes to it bossbot? I kinda was thinking of mebbe a patchwork mosaic of the Uluru, Sydney harbor bridge, Opera house, kangaroo, koala and other Aus landmarks - in a faded background kinda way view for a background instead of the basic black strip. Doesn't have to be actual pictures , can be drawn for it to be cohesive as having a same same kinda art drawing to it. Kinda giving it that Aussie flavor. I know its not so original as other websites from other countries feature icons/scenes from their country but hey what could be better to say this is an Australian site , ya know :o
About the logo, the .com.au is too dark. Make it a lighter grey. :)

I'm changing a few plans with the main website structure at the moment, so the other ideas I had for the banner image has been held up.
But I've been keen to let others do up proposed banners, and maybe even rotate a few of them. Just keep them to about the size of the current one, and they don't have to have the exact otca logo, or the oz-matrix if you don't want to.
I'm going to be perfectly honest about the current banner (and this isn't intended to offend either) but it looks so ... amateur.
Would it be possible for you to post the Oz Matrix image so others who want to have a go can use it Griff?
hey griff did you take away the social groups page? cause for some reason it doesnt work....
I'll have a look at the social groups thing, as there was something changed in the default settings of the new board version.
I agree that the banner looks amateurish, and cringe when I see it, but was all I had time to do that day.
