i see your point Blackie. but on the other hand, I'll be glad some my hard earned taxes might be coming back to me instead of going to some young mother who has 6 kids to 6 different fathers who don't pay maintenance .:mad: I was going to spend it on getting a tattoo and maybe if i have any left maybe on the toyfair next weekend :D

I'm getting my $950 on Monday with my Youth Allowance payment and I applied on March 7-10. I was not sure if I was going to get it until I read a letter they sent me this week. Recipients of Youth Allowance are getting the bonus up to June 30, so there may be a chance still...

Wonder if and when Im going to get this..... would be nice after all that soooo much tax Ive been paying ( taxes here, its ridiculous for single people) for the past years. I always felt like Im being punished for working hard and being single. :(

I would agree to that but in reality it doesn't. Just look at Sydney.

So I would rather my hard earned tax money to come back to me rather than to god knows where that has no practical relevance or community benefit.

I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way too, its like the system was designed to benefit married couples with kids and shun people who wish to be single and actually gives to the government rather than take.
