Vange1us "IP infringing Botcon extravangaza" is pretty good. The individual Feral Rex robots alone make the set.

Feral Rex Leo Dux pre-order with another early bird discount. Get him while its hot!
Am I the only one who thinks these guys look terrible in colour? They looked out of this world in uniform grey, but now I've almost completely lost interest. Based on Nemean, I actually think TFC is the way to go on these guys which is a surprise as I thought Hercules was vastly inferior to Giant, and Uranos was rubbish.
Some further size-comparison shots from Peaugh you ask? :p:

The factory screwed up the molds, so Bovis will have red legs and black feet.:(
Other than that, they look great.:)
It's from the TFW2005 Feralcons thread, from one of the designers who's been remarkably informative/engaged. I usually avoid the TFW forums like the plague but I'm really looking forward to these guys so I've been following it pretty closely.
I'd much rather all-red legs myself, but it does still sorta work with the red head and black horns. Apparently the Boss at MMC feels it looks OK and doesn't want the delay it'd take to correct the mold mistake.
I agree, it looks fine and not worth the delay. I can understand a delay if the head or something more character impacting had been color changed but since it's just one small part of the leg that can arguably be seen as an improvement based on some opinions, then it's not worth it.
To me Bovis looks fine. Headstrong's (or whoever he is) yellow seems a bit faded in those pics, however I prefer his mold to the smaller one.
Seeing as how we are talking about delayed Buffalo's I was reminded of this.
I'm with Homer on this one.
just watched the reviews by peaugh and wow i cant wait for these.
the size difference and pricing compared to Unique Toys really sets MMC's version as the one to get.
peaugh mentions that the colours will be a deeper/saturated on the final product as the ones he reviewed were the 1st coloured test shots.
These look incredible and must haves for any Predaking fans.
Where is the best (cheapest) place to pre-order these? Robotkingdom don't seem to have them for pre-order.
Thanks bros.
at the moment im ordering through BBTS as they have a pile of loot option and so shipping will be comparable to RK if you have a large order. You can also try TFSource as they advertise cheaper international postage but i haven't used them since that change.
but definitely try to get the early bird prices as that knocks off $15 off each figure.
as a reminder, RK are no longer getting any new stuff from Fansproject, Mastermind Creations (and probably others.)
Edit: Mastermind Creations' release schedule
Sorry for the slow reply. Everything sort of blends together into this big mess of flat colour. I realise they were following the G1 colour schemes, but it would have been nice to see them pick out more detail. Bovis came out a lot better than Fortis, and I think it's all down to the extra grey value which really helps break him up. For the amount of sculpted detail, the paint apps just don't hold up.
woke up this morning

I think as with Predaking, 3s the limit... right?
...And still no love for Highbrow. *sigh*

Chatter says it'll scale with your classics figures (probably voyager class equivalent) so it's not directly competing against the masterpiece sized Quakewave.
New weapon accessory for Hexatron from MMC. The guns look pretty good, however if I do end up getting this set I doubt I will be using the helmet.

I'm with you on that one. Clear plastic always puts me off to some degree.
I also find the silver grips on his legs a little strange given that they fold up to become the side of the gun. Not a big fan of the grey plastic they're using either, and it looks like he's got a whole ton of kibble on his back. This is definitely one I'd have to wait for reviews of before picking up.
I think it's just an homage to the G1 toy which had the silver plates on the sides of the feet. They might look a bit out of place given the changes to the transformation scheme but you can bet that if they'd been omitted, everyone would be crying for 'more G1'. ;)
I'm not really keen on the look of MMC's newest figures, the proportions seem a bit off and they look... chunky?
Wow, that is truly amazing
Goodness! What a thing of beauty.
Looks so powerful.
I know what my next 3rd party purchase will be.
Though if his wings where slightly larger it would be even better!
I dunno. I do like the look of him. But I feel like the whole thing looks a bit too...busy? Too much going on at one time? Hard to explain. Maybe I'll change my mind once we see painted pics...
Im not keen on him either too chunky sooo much kibble...looking forward to see some end pics of tfc and ut i really like those tw0
I like the look of these guys, and plan on holding onto my pre-orders. I know they're super durable to survive Peaugh however would like to see the combined form in some more dynamic poses. Perhaps something similar to what MakeToys Giant can do.
