Just rang Footlocker Swanston St (Melbourne). The guy I spoke to reckons there are already 15 people lining up for tomorrow's sneaker releases.

Megatran, I passed by George St on my way home (and was planning to head back in around 8pm) and they're all sold out.
The frustrating part was I can _tell_ that at least half the people lined up are just doing to so resell. I want a pair to wear but I'm not paying what's likely to be $500-600 to one of these guys.

The best legit online store for sneakers is RMK in Hong Kong; they've already sold out of pre-orders.

But hanging out for Black Infrared, which I hope will be confirmed for Black Friday. Did I mention I'm after the Maroons too (if they get released).
The Sport Blues are more or less confirmed; but there's no date. It's likely to be June-Sept - rumour is northern summer. The Maroons have seen some conjecture & rumour, haven't heard a thing about the Black Infrareds. October could make sense though.
I've got the Black IRs, but the Sport Blues & especially the Maroons (which I had as a kid) I'm after. After last night's disappointment I've already decided I'll just take annual leave on the Friday before those two drop; just in case they end up being stupid limited. They're the last two I've been hanging out for.

If you're referring to Jordan XI Gamma Blue that was released on 21st December last year (going by memory), I gave it a miss. I think these were pretty much readily available here in many of the Footlocker stores.
I'm only interested in Jordan IV, V & VI. An emotional attachment to my teenage years.

The Gammas were actually quite numerous, jazzcomp, but they're all sold out now.
Yes a 3 month wait. Gives you time to stash for the Carmines. I've actually saved the $$ over the years for the Maroons & Sport Blues.
Nike Australia rarely stocks 8.5 for some reason. They get them, but in low numbers., Much lower than the demand for them anyway. They also avoid 12.5 (which is even less common) but then the demand is very low.

Yeah I picked up the Xs. While I'm not a huge fan of Xs, it's a really nice colourway. My wife got a pair too, & used a birthday voucher to get 'em cheap.
BTW I also managed to hunt down a pair of VIs (from Melbourne as it happens). Wasn't cheap but yeah well life is short... and there's nothing else on the horizon for me until at least June.
