haven't been on for a while. coming and going all the way up until Jan. which by then, i should have some stuff to post up. So, not dead yet, just distant.
Hope i can remember how to use the site when i jump back on!

Spent the last 4 days at Phillip Island with friends and went to the beach often.
I was sick for 3-4 days.
I'm sure I'll be back on the 3rd of January. Until then, merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year!

Tomorrow at 8:15am EST, I'll be heading in for eye surgery (A procedure called Collagen Cross-Linking) that'll hopefully arrest the condition I'm suffering from - Keratoconus. :o
A total suspected recovery period of up to 3 months (Per eye) is expected, but an optimistic estimate of when I'd be able to even look at a computer monitor next is a week; so in saying that...
I don't know when or if I'll be able to say this closer to the actual date - Take it easy guys & have great Xmas, I'll be back. ;):)

Surgery went well, spent quite some time in a degree of discomfort but thankfully very minimal pain; My physician is very pleased with the healing progress of my Right eye and if all things continue on this good path whilst remaining to go according to plan, sometime between March & June I should expect to go in and have the same treatment applied to my Left eye. :o:D
Hopefully after all that, the degeneration of my corneas will cease and the procedure will have done its job. :cool:

Well, my move went well but I won't have internetz over the weekend :( (or for another week at home) so... have a great weekend everyone! :)
Have been absent for a bit now & will continue to be for a little longer yet as on Thursday (11/04/13) I will be undergoing surgery on my Left eye, the same procedure as my Right eye late last year in fact so I'll be out of commission for at least a week longer. :(

My dad died last night/this morning. Had to sit there hour after hour watching him struggle to draw breath and as no other relies were present had to be the one to decide to switch the machines off. May not be around until after the funeral next Monday unless I need distraction
Damn :( Sadly I know exactly what this is like, having gone through it with my mum earlier this year. There's not much anyone can say, but Transformers is not a bad distraction. :( Take it easy.
