The fun of Transformers toys is to treat them like puzzles that need to be solved. If you always follow instructions, you don't get the same sense of accomplishment of doing something on your own, without any help from anyone or anything. The procedure I use on any figure that isn't too fragile to risk it - is to start off with just the toy to see if I can get it into its other mode, and if not, then I look at the packaging photos first... and then as a last resort, I look at the instructions. And most times I check the instructions afterwards anyway to see if I missed any gimmicks or see if bits aren't where they should be.

In the case of Jetfire, I got most of it done, but still had to refer to the packaging pics for the placement of the arm joints (to make the jet nose sections line up), and I had to look on the instructions for the strap bit (which someone else here posted a clearer description than the instructions had).

Well on wednesday, I received in the mail Yellow Bumblebee, Yellow Cliffjumper, and... Reflector!!! Woot!!!

One step closer to getting all the G1 minibots.

I used the instructions (which weren't very helpful) and it took me 46 minutes to transform Jetfire (although I was interrupted a few times by Yukikaze :p)! Just so fiddly -- and figuring out what to do with those straps took a while too (because the instructions are totally useless in that department).

Well It took me 3 hours to transform mixmaster,starscream,demolisher and ironhide WITH instructions. LOL

Thanks Dre!:D found it kmart at eastgardens near work bought wityh snakeeyes and storm shadow, I was going to get a goktimusprime ;) at kmart blacktown but it was too expensive hehehe *bumped into gok*. its good you got the fallen, got my self two more so i got three of the fallens now, i kinda want to have 'the primes' the same as the movie cos they all look like the fallen so I need to get at least 1 more. how you find the figure like.some people would disagree but for some reason i really do like the fallen? weird huh? but anyways enjoy!

PS: Oh yeah btw have you seen the movie yet?

I was wondering why you had two Fallens in your pic now it makes sense! :D I like my Fallen toy too.

Should be fairly close. The Japanese magazines used to promote Alternities as BTs in a new Movie Deluxe size/scale, and had shots of Alternities Convoy standing next to Movie Deluxe Bumblebee.

heres my stuff from the past 3 weeks or so, thanks to Jgon for the boxed Starscream which has been replaced with mine so now i have a minty boxed one with insert and now have an extra Starscream figure :D also thanks to Kup for some of the bits and pieces yay!! i now i have a complete Thundercracker!!! which completes all of my seekers!!

I like the aesthetics of the bot mode, couldn't care for the alt mode, its just too alien looking. He looks like an Egyptian themed robot - enter the Mummy hehehe. NOpe havent seen the movie yet :D. Im planning it by next week as I have 3 movies planned on seeing.

If i was in your position i would try and put numbers 1-8 on there tails. :)

Anyway hope one of them in that Ransack Squadron , have there ordinance correctly attached to there wings "as" that is a instant Fail waiting to happen.:D:p
