It was a real shame that Toynami in their time with Voltron never re-made the Vehicle Force. Toynami did make the Lion Force anniversary set for which I purchased.
As such, I always wanted a Vehicle Force but the quality was so dispersed wiht missing pieces and price was an issue.
However a couple of weeks ago on EBAY I found a pretty good Voltron Vehicle Force.
This Voltron did not have instructions or a box, however on the net, I found some website – "Angelfire" that had the old Voltron and some basic instructions.
As you can see from pictures from EBAY, this was filthy.

If they cleaned the thing there could have been more interest.
I asked the seller about this toy. The story was that this belonged to her brother and it sat in the bedroom closet for years. She advised that the right arm had a scratch when in fact the clip on the hand was broken. As such the hand wont lock in. To fix this, I took the relevant vehicle apart and removed the spring. I put some tape on the hand so that it locked into the vehicle.
I considered complaining, but this was a bargain at $160 given that age and condition. So I just shut up and gave her a good comment. You don’t see that many Voltrons in such good condition.
Anyway it arrived today and I set back cleaning this thing. It took ages. I used water and paper towels.

Thanks everyone. The vehicle force Voltron was a great buy notwithstanding its dirtiness and non working right hand.
This toy is around 30 years ago and its in top condition!
On ebay right now is a japanese vehicle voltron (Dairgugger XV) that looks pretty damn good, box and all - excepting a broken sword.
I wonder how high it'll go? There's no bids but some interested parties judging by the Q&A.

Mostly i wanted no hassle finding one, but as a bonus this bootleg is diecast, brand new, has all weapons and missiles/launchers and was cheaper than a legit plastic Trendmasters from BBTS
I got it from an excellent ebay seller, and it arrived 3 days from shipping.
Apart from just a couple sloppy paint apps, i am really really happy with this!
I only had the Panosh Place version as a kid and this thing is infinitely better!
Truth be told, i think it's better than what i've seen of the Matty Collector version too, so i feel good about that now :)

Missing 1 piece (one of the sub's radars), and his sword is broken, but nothing a bit of glue can't fix. Chrome needs some work, so I will be looking into that chroming thread later. And he needs a bit of clean, but overall I am pretty impressed. The motors still work in most of the vehicles as well!
Gonna be my fixer-upper to make him shiny and new again!! Not bad for a 29 year old toy!!

Neca Robocop (just in time for the figma Robocop to come out), GI Joe Crimson Hydra and Cobra Gunship (bought on a whim for $15 each) and Transformable F43 Fighter which to be honest is pretty damn crap (even for a non-official item) but its going to be my practice run for a paintjob and finally I bought 3x NGE Portraits figures (1 of Rei and 2 of Asuka).
The combination of living in Osaka and having a living wage is a bit dangerous...
One week after buying MP10 I bought a 2nd hand Good Smile Tachikoma too. One or two minor scratches and smudges but mostly in good condition.
My poor budget...
