Or "Yoke Ono" as they were commonly known.
OK - bad joke.
But seriously, I had a small breakthrough regarding this mystery. I was looking thru all my Cyclonus pictures, and for some reason stopped to re-read the old (1986?) Universe Bio. It makes reference to a 'third' mode:
"Cyclonus is capable of an additional transformation, trimming his wings and tail back to assume a space-worthy rocket mode for interstellar pursuit and warfare."
(Although we probably all have that comic, I snagged the quote from http://www.ntfa.net/universe/english...&char=Cyclonus coz I'm at work).
I had a go at this mode last night. Doesn't look good.
Anyone know any good places to hunt TF's in Taylors Lakes in Melbourne? Heading from the bush today for a wedding there, and might get an hour shopping in tomorrow before we head home again.
Not really. At the Watergardens shopping centre you get Target and Big W. Outside of the centre (but still part of it), there's a fairly large Toyworld. But every time I go in there there's not a lot of items of interest. You might get lucky, but I'd keep expectation low.
Shame you're not on the otherwise of town, you'd have slightly more success, I reckon.
NO MP megs has been KOed. AFAIK. There is the downsized version which is of 3rd party - can't remember the name of the company and it had a counterpart KO downsized scale Prime too - Faith leader or something it's called. but yeah some pics would help a lot if you can. Just remember if it's packaged - it has to be Takara packaging, Hasbro never changed the packaging or came up with their own - the retailers, they just added the orange cap which destroys all MISB collectors dreams to dust heheheh. if it's in some other packaging then more than likely it's a KO I have not heard off.
The orange plug is for US market - it's their go around solution for their laws prohibiting guns. As per their law since it's agun replica and not a real gun they have to put an orange/yellow cap to indicate that it is to differentiate it from a real gun. Australia has none of this law, especially concerning Megatron - youd be tackled and brought to the ground if you ever tried bringing him out in broad daylight heheheh.. or worse arrested and fined in most states here. Which is why Im hoping they make a G2 Megatron MP if they can't do a downsized MP5 mold.
He's not joking. This has actually happened to a TF collector who was stupid enough to brandish a Megatron toy in gun mode in public.
Gun Transformers can be seized and destroyed (via incineration) in jurisdictions where they are banned or prohibited (hence the importance of having a permit in prohibited jurisdictions like NSW). I've heard that this has happened to some people.
And then there was the t-shirt incident
