Having spent the past few weekends fixing up the gf's car, I can sympathise with the insane prices dealers want to charge you for items. Case in point some Ford Festiva Tie Rod ends. Ford wanted $140 each for the ends and the arms (which I didnt need) and would not sell just the ends. Repco for just the rod ends wanted $121 each. Got them from Autobarn for $27 each...

For less essential things than Handbrake cables I suggest Pick and Payless, so much cheaper and easier to deal with. (as long as you actually know what you are looking for).

Because TF's come before physical preservation of the self. :D

Having had my first car for 10+ years, I've gotten quite good at hunting down replacement parts for bargain prices :) but handbrake cables (for my car atleast) seem to snap every 3-4 years... *shakes head* & the ones I've found at Pick n' Payless/Pick n' Pull are pretty much at the end of their tether... & the only other place that sells 'em is Nissan directly... Oh well... *shrugs*

speaking of work, they tried to call me in to start eariler...just as soon as the package arrived =_= I told them no xD

New Dash, Sump plate and Tie Rod ends for the gf's Festiva, she now has a pretty blue dash to go with her Purple car.

4 Black and Gold Molly's for the fish tank, they didn't even eat any of the neons! :D

And Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the PS2.

Well, it was only the driver's side cable that needed replacing so I'm pleased to report a refund on the un-used/still-sealed 2nd cable was obtained today :) (A smile & a friendly attitude at the customer service desk goes a long way :)).

Goddam that is a hard game to find at a decent price. It still sells for heaps. I wish they'd make the damn thing Platinum.
