Had a quick look at the specs, and no it doesnt allow you do do that.

Min Aperture: f/4.9
Max Aperture: f/2.8
Aperture Range Description: f/2.8 (wide) / f/4.9 (tele) - f/5.6

My other camera, Canon SX3 IS have appature and full manual control, but it not capable to Bokeh as nice as a SLR can.


Your photos are very nice though, with the backdrop and good lightning... imagine what you can do with a DSLR.

Here is a tip, try not to bend and fold the paper backdrop too much so you dont see a line where the horizontal meets the vertical portion.

Well I'm quite pleased that I've got most of the necessary ingredients :D, a DSLR is a little whiles off though unfortunately but you're right about the creases and folds :o, unfortunately the way they were packaged led to them being like that so I'll have to see if there is a way of ironing them out without actually using an iron. :p

Stuffed these ones up by not noticing that I had the backing sheet the wrong way around and it had all sorts of crap stuck to it... :(

I love how you've captured the soft lighting on his skin, combined with the opposing shadow, soft focus and the amazing sculpt of that figure; it yields some crazy good photos and cements in my mind that Hasbro really needs to take a better look at the credentials of it's Official Stock photographers. :D
