Bay to do TMNT

I remember when the first movie came out - my teacher said to us, "That film has 172 acts of violence" and we were all like, "Cccooooolll!" :D The line just to see that movie was hectic -- went around the block! :eek:

Has there been a date attached to this rad flick yet? - I thoroughly enjoyed Bay's Transformers flicks, as well as Platinum Dunes' re-envisionings of various Horror film classics. :)

The name 'Platinum Dunes' must be ironic. A more appropriate name for that production company would be 'Barrel Bottom'. :P

Well I am pretty sure that we all know what this movie will be as Bay seems to involve himself too much (even as a producer) and he is very 'consistent' in his ways and attitudes when dealing with established franchises and film making. As Laird mentioned, it is indeed 'possible' that the movie may turn out good but given Bay's track record, I think that the possibility is as remote as the end of the world on the 21st of December.

Why always so negative kup? You should be hopeful that you will enjoy the movie or at least TMNT is making a comeback. With all your hate towards the TF movies I am really wonder why you still even have an interest in transformers at all.

TMNT went away to require a comeback? Wow, I must have gone into hibernation or something for like 20 years as I thought that there was a theatrically released movie only a couple of years ago along with a long running cartoon series and ongoing toyline.

And also, I didn't know that liking Bayformers was a mandatory requirement to enjoying the Transformers franchise.

Sorry if I sounded annoyed but this is the sort of ill informed attitude that was used by Bay and co with Transformers. Their attitude was all about 'This was a dead franchise until Bay picked it up and saved it from oblivion' when the line had been perfectly healthy and successful for about 20 years.
