In this photo, Warden looks like he's been watching too much Border Security and suspects Cerebros of trafficking chrysmag in his boron compressor.

Had a chance to sit down and transform him today and I'm still very impressed.

The head mode is the most impressive. The fact that Warden can fold down and compress into that small a box is a feat of engineering. And while it looks in the photos really weird and out of proportion, I can assure that in person, after comparing the 2, it is the Cerebros head that looks weird and out of proportion. And the really cool thing, The little headmaster sits inside the head in robot mode as a pilot. That is cool!!:eek:
Tank mode is nice. There is no denying that it is a compromise but it still looks like a Cybertronian artillery tank. There are some tricks to lining everything up but all the complaints I read about pegs being too big/not lining up are wrong. Its all there and fits, you just have to work out how.
The instructions are ok. Better than most 3rd Party companies but some bits still require a fair bit of thought. Transformarion isn't intuitive (at least for me) but is still not difficult. After one go I reckon I could get it again without the instructions.
Overall, I can say that this figure is great. It is leaps and bounds above any other CHUG figure. PE could upscale it to MP scale without changing a thing and it would still be impressive.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Nite nite :)
Absolutely stunning photos & superb review there Trent; I'm holding out hope that FansProject will be doing their own take on FortMax but if that doesn't end up eventuating I think I'd be extremely happy to go with Warden here. ;):cool:
@Trent,
You're not helping me convince myself that I don't need to buy this. not helping at all. :mad:
:D
good review, very nice pictures.
The robot mode looks absolutely stellar but the lackluster tankmode is holding me back. Still the final product appears to be extremely high quality.

Dayum, that looks terrific. That articulation makes him look very realistic. Damn, now I want him. :(
