Oh - right! I'd been wondering what you were doing there. Well done on the no-spoilers front!

New sig =
Thank you. :)
I find Beast Machines Megatron to be a fascinating character - one whom I simultaneously like and dislike!
What I like about him...
I like how he's arguably the only Megatron who's ever achieved (or come closest to fully achieving) G1 Megatron's credo of "Peace Through Tyranny." And unlike most other 'evil' Transformers he actually sees himself as a heroic character - a hero. A saviour of Cybertron - to the point where even Optimus Primal momentarily considered Megatron's perspective and entertained the idea that Megatron could be right. And it's one thing I really like about Beast Machines - how the lines between good and evil are quite blurred. Both the Maximals and Vehicons equally considered themselves as the good guys and each other as evil. "Good" and "evil" become matters of perspective rather than absolutes.
What I dislike about him...
He's just not Beast Wars Megatron. He's an entirely different character. As fascinating as the character is, it's completely out-of-character compared to BW Megatron, who he is meant to be. The series offers no real valid explanation as to why Megatron has become like this either. As much as BM Optimus Primal's emo-ness irritates me, I can understand it - he's riddled with guilt for losing the Beast Wars and through that allowing Cybertron to fall under Megatron's absolute dictatorship. He holds himself for the rise of the Vehicon empire and carries the massive burden of being the planet's emancipator, seeking to undo his sins. Optimus becomes so consumed and obsessed with his guilt-driven cause that he even allows himself to become evil for a while. But Megatron... I don't get it. In Beast Wars he revelled in being evil (as noted in "The Agenda") yet in Beast Machines he's this self-proclaimed Messiah. His deep-seated prejudice and hatred against organics is also something completely strange and seems to have appeared out of nowhere. He was more than eager and willing to give himself a beast mode - and even after most of the Energon deposits on Earth stablised he still entertained his Transmetal and Transmetal 2 forms. If he were that obsessively against organics then surely he would've had himself rebuilt to have only a vehicular mode instead of a beast mode. (-_-)
As kup says, Beast Machines is a very good story on its own, but is a dubious sequel to Beast Wars. :/
Only in the comics yeah. A disclaimer has been attached. :) For anyone interested in learning about the origins of the movie's Fallen, read "Defiance."
I think you forgot the Silverbolt from the Energon Superion Maximus repaint in Universe.
You're right! And I'd also forgotten Universe Legends Silverbolt (the one that comes with Universe Hot Zone, Scattorshot and Hun-Grrr) - so there are actually five Universe Silverbolts!
Hasbro's notorious lack of attention like this just makes me wanna:

P.S.: now I'm glad that I got Henkei Octane and Henkei Inferno, as I already have Universe Tankor and Universe Inferno -- having two entirely different toys (representing entirely different characters) with the same line and character names would just be nauseating! This wasn't the reason why I opted for the Henkei versions of these characters, but it's an added bonus. :)
Everytime I see your current Buster Witwicky has the matrix in his mind fact, I keep thinking he looks like he has a huge hangover.
I can just imagine it.
Buster: You know I had a couple of drinks while I was chatting with Prime, and the next thing I know, I wake up and I've got the matrix is in my head. :D
Either he's drunk or abusing some other prohibited substances heheheh
Apparently some TransFans have also had romantic interactions with human women. It's rare, but can happen. :p :DQuote:
