I recognise those cardbacks :p
Picked up the latest ish of Wreckers yesterday.
Thanks to Jgon for four Terrorcon limbs to attach to my Hun-Gurrr (they arrived today - thanks J!). It was also a good security measure to stop me from liberating the MOSC ones I'd bought from him on a previous occasion:

Thanks for the pics stencilator. I want this guy now! Damn empty wallet
Nice Anime Streak there, 5FDP. I have one myself, like you it took me a while to track down (although mine was loose but boxed). As minor variants go it's a beauty!
Thanks to dirge, got a Euro Clench while in Sydney earlier today.
(thought I would be bringing something interesting to the Brisbane meet today, but of all the TFs, it was the same one Maxiewolf brought as well... what are the odds?)
Thanks dirge. I had to convince a US seller to allow me to bid on his Ebay auction (he would only ship within the US) in order to get him.
The last one I saw went for a 'measly' AU $138.80 and that was from a seller willing to ship worldwide so I thought I should be able to get this for less... in theory. It ended up waaaay above this, however considering they only show up on the second-hand market once in a blue moon, I wasn't going to let it pass me by :)
Okay...so I saved all my photos for one post instead...Is that cool?

March has been a good month...
Glad you convinced him. I never get sellers who can't be a$$ed filling out a customs form to increase their market.
Fair enough. While I got mine two years ago, I remember the cost, because it worked out at exactly $100.00 after PayPal conversion. And that included postage from Canada. This was back when the USD/AUD rate was nudging 0.99, which helped a LOT :cool:Quote:

But yeah, Bluestreak has always been pricey. Waaaay back when alt.toys.transformers was the only online Transformer resource, he'd go for $50 while others like Trailbreaker might go for $10-15 (yeah I know, those were the days).
in those same old days, I got Anime Bluestreak and Gold Chrome Jazz for SGD$120 and so as with the eHobby releases around those few years I got quite a few sets, somewhere in storage in SG, I really don't know where as I was telling 5FDP.
These eHobby stuff used to be relatively cheap and they were sold in sets of 2 (same way they were released). I remember at the lowest point, I got MISB Clampdown, Deepcover and Tigertracks (some magazine exclusive) for SGD$130 from this guy who said he was sick of brining them to the flea market week after week and no one wanted to buy.
... good 'ol days...
$120 Singapore dollars for both  My, how times have changed. I paid nearly US$220 for just Streak. It's mostly my fault cause I could have waited to see if you found a 'spare' in your collection (assumimg that you wouldn't have charged me that much of course ;))... I'm just an impatient old man :D
got myself a deluxe ratchet... he is awesome!
Actually I was referring to the era before eBay took off - 1996-1998...
Young whippersnapper! :p
But you're right the eHobby stuff was relatively inexpensive while there was a supply with toy dealers. It's once they ran out of stuff like Clampdown etc that the prices shot up - once us collectors get our mits on them we don't let go :D
I got Jolt and Arcee from Big W (2 for $10) today. Legends Arcee is a much easier transform compared to the Deluxe version. Jolt is take it or leave it.
My acquisitions for march. Couldn't get that damned castle off my chest of drawers :D
Universe Starscream, Onslaught and Galvatron courtesy of autobot_hound. Half repainted ROTF deadlift courtesy of ebay. (well not the repainting :p)

just got home and my Arcee that I only ordered from ebay last week had arrived! :):):)
I remember that episode, lol, gotta love how sci-fi attempts to crossover with fantasy. :DQuote:

G1 Thrust - only missing missles and landing gear
G1 Bluestreak - missing 1 Launcher
G1 Sunstreaker :D:D:D - missing his rear spolier and has two right hands??
I'm especially happy with Sunstreaker. He was one of the TFs I gave away during my 'I'm too old for this' phase and am now glad I got him back.
Thrust completes my G1 Seekers!
Now I only have to get Skids to complete the Autobot cars :p
Sure are m'boy, found this one at a Toyworld in the city. :) Note sure if it's immedietly obvious to everybody, but can you see how cleverly they make all the grey bits stand out as being the skeleton frame and all the rest is robotic samurai armour (obviously)? Such great design!
I don't mean to alarm you optimus1, but it seems highly likely that your Sunstreaker hands are from the recent KO. The KO was packed with two right hands and no left. I've seen this a lot on Ebay lately whereby sellers use KO parts to sell a toy off as complete.
I only recently acquired Skids and I have to say that he is fast being one of my favourite G1 toys. Thankfully mine doesn't have the issue of the wheel sticking out from under the feet when in robot mode causing a slight imbalance. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend all the G1 '84 and '85 'cars'. They are all things of beauty on a level that the TFs nowadays can only aspire to (my subjective view, heh).
I just had another close look at Sunstreaker, his hands DO look a bit too new :(
But at least one of his missles appears similarly aged as his engine. He doesn't appear to be a KO but his hands really do appear to be :(
I'm just glad that my other Autobot Cars are surely not KO - most of them I got before all this KO nonsense started :)
As for Skids, I'm not in any rush for him yet. I'll look for a great priced Encore version!
