ToysRUs at Aspley have TR Voyager Blitzwing and Octone, as well as Leaders Sixshot and Skyshadow.
They also had RID Warrior Twinferno and Thermador. At 20% off this weekend, it makes them $24 each.
Plus the 2nd wave of Movie Legions, and just the earlier waves of everything else.
Ah well, makes me feel better I still have a blitzwing coming from bbts then. :p
We were there at 12.30pm, and we found a Blitzwing hiding behind the Octone. :p
They also had both Megatron and Optimus... which meant two versions of each "mould" at the one store.
They didn't have anything I wanted though. :(

Picked up Galvatron and Octone at TRU Sunshine Plaza today. Had a few Blitzwing and Megatron too. Still 20% off. 1 Victorion set. Standard fare otherwise.
Myers had a similar range (no Galvatron) plus Blaster and Soundwave, and a Liokaser set. Parking is pretty crazy though (we got there at 8:30)
Toyworld at Kawana have a G1 Insecticon reissue box.
Happy holiday hunting!
Stug - did the 20% coupon apply to promotional items like TR Blitzwing?
Kovert - No, but funny you should ask. Bought 2 different items, both on sale, and teller automatically scanned his copy of the code. The register began giving bizarre messages and he had to call his supervisor. It was melting down because it had nothing to apply the discount to.
So no further discount, Stug? IIRC, TR Voyagers were on sale for $44.99. At that price, the saving would have been only 10%. Did they offer to put it through for the normal price of $49.99 so the 20% coupon could be applied?
From about a week ago, Kmart Sunnybank had the new 1-step RID Soundwave as well as the Rescue Bots Megabot Blades, while the Rescue Bots trailers and mini-playsets are both on clearance.

Coles at Sunnybank last week restocked their RID Legions, but with wave 1!!!!
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2017c08.jpg
Fortunately today, they had restocked again, with the last wave of Legions, which includes Twinferno. (also there, was Bisk, Blurr and Groundbuster on the peg, which could be part of that final wave case)

I must say that I am fairly disappointed with how terrible the selection is, makes me sad seeing Broadsides and Wave 1 TLK Deluxes at K-mart Toombul.
Myer Pacific Fair has Titans Return Octane and Blitzwing in stock, as well as some older TR/RiD stock. I even saw a platinum coneheads there, but for $199 it ain't going any time soon. Big W seems pretty cleared out there, only really rid so hopefully potp restock.
Springwood Coles had the new wave of RiD Legions, but I took the last Twinferno. One Groundbuster if anyone is still looking for that one. They still weren't scanning and require manual input by the staff.
Found at the CBD Toyworld yesterday by member Justowen, the wave 5 Titans Return Legends (Seaspray and Cosmos) for $23.
That just leaves Ramhorn and Overlord left to be released here. The Legends were unlikely to show up here, with the new POTP toyline just weeks away, so who knows... maybe we might still see those other two here as well.

For those looking for Octone near Garden City, there are still several at ToysRUs, but they are on an endcap that is at the back of the store... so you don't see them if you just go to the regular Transformers section and not wander up to the back wall.
No Blitzwing though.
Myer Maroochydore has Octane and Blitzwing.

The rest of the end cap, facing the back wall of the store.

And RID 1-step Soundwave, which is showing up everywhere now.

And at Target Ipswich North - I saw a single RID Warrior Starscream, which I think was a toy that was in demand when it was released at the beginning of the year. (and the new 1-step RID Soundwave) Plus, Remote Control Barricade to join Bumblebee... which looks even worse than Bumblebee (to me).

And at JB Hifi Ipswich North, the new Season 2.5 RID DVD for $13.

The week after Christmas... and shelves were still noticeably stripped, while Kmart had just about everything on Clearance ready for the POTP toys to start arriving.

Kmart Sunnybank - clearance tags everywhere in the toy section for Transformers, while their licensed mugs and mini lunchboxes were also on clearance. Also found the kids Optimus t-shirt in the kids clothing section.

BigW Garden City - actually restocked the RID Warriors, and had on clearance some of the Diecast RID cars, along with the large Dragonstorm, the RC Sqweeks, and those Rescue Bots mini-playsets that they only just got in for cheap at $10 (now discounted even further to $7 - originally $35 here).

Kmart Garden City - no photos, because I had trouble finding any Transformers toys. They had a couple of Dragonstorms and the licensed Diecast vehicles, but not really anything else.
Target Garden City - almost the same, with very little to choose from (Transformers must have done well this Christmas... which is good for us, as it means better "restocking" of the Brand with the new POTP toyline later this month).
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2018tg01.jpg
Myer Garden City - more than Target and Kmart combined, but nothing too recent though.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2018m01.jpg
Hmmm, you guys in Brisbane seem to have a ton of Transformers left over from TR still. Hope that doesn't delay POTP hitting shelves later this month. I haven't checked Kmart Gladstone lately but Big W Gladstone is down to the last couple of TR figures, one Dragonstorm and some left over movie figures, but have just restocked RID and Rescue Bots (and I didn't even know Big W carried Rescue Bots).
Today at Garden City ToysRUs.
Looks like they just did a stock-take, as there were little orange stickers everywhere, with counts on them.
I would say that I hope this means that a restock is likely, if adjustments show that they are short on some things, but it looks like they had a small restock just before the stock-take... and with POTP just around the corner, I can't see them wanting more Movie, TR and RID toys.
So now they have a heap of the wave 2 Movie Legions, and the last wave of RID Warriors were there, which has Twinferno underneath a different Twinferno.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2018tru01.jpg
The end cap at the back of the store has been filled out as well, and now has a banner at the top.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2018tru02.jpg
And at the front of the store, heaps of the Movie Tiny Changers (wave 1 - I guess that means we won't see wave 2 here), and Fidgit Cube heads for $15 each. (I didn't realise they were that expensive - I think Reject Shop had them for about $5).

Nothing new at BigW... and I didn't bother checking Kmart, Target or Myer, which were already pretty depleted a week earlier when I was there.
Did you see any Brainstorms at Garbo? He's the one TR fig I've been on the fence about getting. Might as well finally cave and get him while I have a chance.
You're probably thinking of CW Brainstorm, that's the only one that was available at mass retail.
Computron and Victorion were picked up by Aussie retail (TRU and Big W), that's why you saw them in store.
Brainstorm was not picked up by general retail outside of Walgreens in the US. There are a few online retailers like The Little Toy Company that got some stock of him in. Your best bet if you want him is to get him from there.
I'm just giving you the best information, not having a go at you for asking.
The Gen-14 Brainstorm?
For some reason, Hasbro seemed to want both versions of the TR Brainstorm to be limited editions, with one being in that SDCC 3-pack boxset, and the other being the Walgreens single pack version.
The bluer Japanese release (which was a general release toy in Japan) was probably made in greater numbers... than both of the Hasbro versions combined.
I thought for SURE that Mr Toys Toyworld on Queen Street would have the new PoTP toys, but no joy :(
They did have 2x TR Cosmos, and 1x Slugslinger though if anyone is chasing
Yeah, I went in on Thursday. Not much of a spread then, either.
Mr Toys seems to be overcharging for them anyway, if the ACT thread is anything to go by. I was under the impression that the previously-reported price increase wasn't happening after all.
At Mr Toys Toyworlds EVERYTHING is above retail price. It used to be collector oriented and people would pay a premium for getting it NOW in hand.
One of the people at the Queen St Mall store told me last year they used to know dates and would get excess stock in because they knew they would sell it, but now they don't get told what's coming, when its coming, they're rarely told about new lines, and they're generally only able to get one or maybe two boxes to a store. Hasbro is behind part of that, apparently.
Most staff at stores are generally very lazy now.
Years ago, staff used to gladly phone if figures turned up.
Years later the new batch of staff wouldn't do it unless I offered a bribe of sorts.
Now they just look at me with glazed eyes and say "I don't think we get that anymore" or "have you looked on the shelf? "
If I ask for anyone to have a look out back for anything, you would swear I had just taken their Xbox away from them. The one guy that did go out back just walked through the plastic curtain, pulled out his phone and started playing with it not knowing I was watching through the curtain, and then he came back out and said he couldn't fine anything. I couldn't even be bothered arguing with him.
In my time as a collector, I have lost so much faith the staff of stores. No one cares about their job anymore. No pride in anything.
Sorry for the rant, I really hope its just my town and not like this everywhere.
To be fair, as an ex-retail employee, I completely see where the staff is coming from.
It's easy not to have pride in your work when you get paid next to nothing (I was lucky to get $400 a week. No lie, that was what I considered a "good week"), have no rights (because you're only casual and the SDA is the most useless union in Australia- case in point, you can sue for unfair dismissal, but if your boss decides to keep you on and simply never ever give you a shift ever again, that's OK), and you're expected to take all sorts of verbal abuse from people because an item scanned at the correct price (the amount of times I was screamed at, literally screamed at, because some idiot customer looked at the wrong price tag is staggering).
If you wanna blame anyone, blame management. They're the ones who created the kind of work environments where it was more practical to not care rather than work hard.
Kmart Helensvale had "Temporarily out of stock" tags up, and empty shelves :(.
They do have a ton of Dragonstorms on clearance though.
Today at Mr Toys Toyworld Burleigh, Gold Coast
Titans Return:
Hot rod, Kup, Wolfwire, Hardhead $30
Galvatron, Astrotrain $50
Soundwave, Blaster $90
Wheelie, Roadburn, Brawn, Gnaw $23
Plenty of titan masters $9
Combiner Wars:
Scattershot, Onslaught $50
Platinum Edition:
Optimus Prime (clear and bronze colour) $169
Toys r Us at Garbo was doing some restocking today. Seems to be RID randos, a bunch of those giant TLK Dragonstorms/Megs, and TR Broadside, and lots of him.
Nowhere else at Garden City has bothered restocking since Xmas, completely missing out on prime "kids flush with Xmas money on school holidays" time.
Nowhere restocked before christmas either from what I saw.
Big W MacArthur Central has been restocking their toys for the past few days. Seem to have finished now, and not a single new transformer figure to be seen.
Toyworld Helensvale says (on phone, but he seemed confident) that they haven't had any new Transformers in months. I'm going to give up hunting and will try next week. I really want Optimus!
