The most interesting tidbit for me is that new Stunticon Offtoad was designed as Ruckus. Looking at Offroad's head I can see it, and if this toy had got Ruckus' colours and names I'd have wanted to get him.

More "behind the scenes" info from Hasbro, on the BWTF website, interviewing Product Manager Jerry Jivoin.
The first part talks about Generations - how the Combiner Wars came about, some comments on the Fan-voted Combiner, and the thought process behind Devastator being different to the other combiners.
The second part talks about RID - the differing demographic and requirements as a toyline, and talking about why Decepticons are beast-themed.
For anyone who believed the false rumour of Devastator being a store exclusive... it was noted in the interview that it is a general release item like Metroplex.

Loving the look of the Protectobots. Even Rook. Wish Groove's robot mode would scale but then G1's vehicle mode scale disparity was kinda nuts.
Mixmaster's vehicle mode kinda bugs me, but it's not enough to ruin the overall impressiveness of the Constructicons. I'm actually glad Scrapper's got no elbows (for the structural reason Gok point out).
