Ouch. Mine had some blemishes, but much to my surprise, they rubbed off. Doesn't look to be the case with yours. Good luck if you do try to get a swap from RK. Suspect you'll have to go to PayPal dispute before you get any resolve.
Yeah, there seems to be some particularly bad Rodimus out there, So far I haven't found any big blemishes on mine (though I've yet to attach the trailer), in fact the paint job, paint aps and plastic (I prefer the matte look to the more glossy toy look) are all pretty well done in my mind.
So far I've found the toy to look pretty fantastic, my issues are as has been mentioned here already with the design, or rather the fact that he can't lock together properly in bot mode, and it doesn't seem like it would have been that hard for the designers to fix either. The groin piece sticking out at the botom in vheicle mode is a pain in the but too.
Anyway I haven't had this toy for a week so not sure waht my ultimate opion of him will be. There seem to be an awfull lot of things done right, and then perhaps an equal amount of things done wrong.
I have a problem with the spring in the foot having come unwound (stopping standing or proper transformation). I contacted RK (info @ robotkingdom.com, CC: sale @ robotkingdom.com) about it last week and no reply yet. Should I just start a PP dispute for a faulty product and see how it goes?Quote:
