In her words "he's worth paying $10 more than the Movie and new show figures, they're tiny!"

Although her fee for the purchase is she gets the minicon Offshoot! :D

Picked up DOTM Skyhammer in preparation for the Headrobots upgrade kit.
It cost a grand total of $12AUD

As expected DOTM toys were not popular here in HK. Prime toys seem to be everywhere.

picked up commander class starscream and bulkhead and a few legend classes. was surprized at the quailty of the plastic and the feel of both bulkhead and starscream.

-- Armada #1 gatefold cover

Have a bundle more of DW issues on their way. Some should arrive this week.

Just be aware that publicly admitting deception could land you into trouble if the wrong sort of person sees it... and could make it difficult for us to attract the interest of retailers and/or toy companies if this board looks like it promotes or allows for boasting of it here. Yeah - to be fair, it was a decent discount. And if the $45 is correct, then the 25% will take it to something close to what you paid anyway.

As a (only recently) former retail employee (and of said store) I get a little frustrated at people who seemingly applaud themselves for their victories over the "rorting retail stores" or the "stupid retail staff".

And, in the interest of full disclosure I've sometimes pushed the boundaries myself - a sale finished on Transformers the day before I got to the store, but tags were still up. Knowing what the dates on the tags mean, I knew the store would be within their rights to not sell me them at sale price, but I pushed, and I got the sale price.

But, that's enough of my derailing of the topic. :)

I looked at the back... What the hell is that god awful large white sticker covering up all the art at the back??....Talk about pi$$ed.:mad: Still love the figure though.

Tried to remove the sticker. Its on there good and leaves a residue. Any ideas what the best residue remover is which wont ruin the card? Ive tried metho..didnt work!!

I would recommend once you've removed the sticker slowly (peel at 90 degrees to the surface) you should get hold of some eucalyptus oil, use with a tissue or sometihing. and use sparingly at first. it will soak into the card if you use too much.
