So I finally got around to watching Daredevil. It was okay and ended with enough loose threads and secrets in the trio of protagonists to make this seem like the writers are in this for the long haul.Quote:

He did because no one challenged him and his power until Matt came along. They were all too scared of him, and looking at how he treated people he was unhappy with (with his own bare hands) no wonder!
But how did he rise to power in the first place? Nobody wants to work with the crazy fat kid. You saw how everyone was distancing themselves from him as his world fell apart. Nobody wants to promote that kind of guy up the ranks. His uncontrollable rage would limit him to a mere thug in the hierarchy. Nobody thinks 'this here is a criminal mastermind of the future and he should be in charge'.Quote:
