Yer mp's are pretty expensive if you pick em up from hobby/anime stores in the CBD. I saw ultra magnus mp for $650  on bourke. You might be able to pick one up for less than rk's AU$158.79 on ebay if you do a bit of haggling ;)

I've seen that UM. They also have MP4 and MP5.
The MP5 is placed at the back of the cashier. They priced me $500 for that.
SW is from a different store just across the street.
Hmm.. I will let him keep his post for now.
Fact: I havn't tried ebaying.:o

what would a shackwave be worth these days?
i know its not a real transformer but its close enough.
its only gota have the bot, with working electronics and the barrel cover.
also whats an incomplete superlink prime worth, with all the bots, just no guns etc?
ta
Shackwave isn't a Transformer, but I don't think it's an illegal KO either. I believe Radio Shack actually acquired the rights to release a version of Astro Magnum (pre-TF Shockwave) - reference. But be aware that Shackwave and Shockwave don't only differ in colour, there is also a slight mould difference - principally in the trigger. Shockwave has the "modesty plate" whereas Shackwave does not.

Left: "Shackwave," Right: Shockwave
As for how much Shackwave would sell for now, I honestly have no idea. :/
Are you talking about Super Link Grand Convoy or Energon Optimus Prime? Aside from colours the Takara and Hasbro versions also have different electronic gimmicks*. When you say "all the bots" I guess you mean the Super Mode version with the four vehicles. It could be worth more if it's one of those rare "mouthed" Hasbro variants too.Quote:

*Energon Optimus Prime has a sound gimmick but no LED. Super Link Grand Convoy has an LED gimmick (the hole in the middle of his "matrix" in his chest lights up) but no sound gimmick.
I'm pretty sure shackwave can be bought for half the price of an orginal shockwave, but I've only ever seen 2 or 3 of em being sold. As for Mp8, I think 200-210 shipped is pretty decent. Esp considering RK jacked up their prices. Very unfair that they do that. If an item sells fast in the early stages (which obviously ALWAYS happens on popular figures) RK do a pricejump whereas other online stores don't, unless it's a few years down the track. Find that very annoying...greedy fools.
Also, how much do loose complete G1 U.S Headmaster Chromedomes go for? Not very familiar with the 87 figures
This is what I have seen in the past: All prices in USD
- Star Convoy: $70
- Sky Garry MIB: $70
- Sky Garry Loose: $60
- Metalhawk MISB: $250
- Metalhawk loose: $175
- Minerva MISB: $400
- Minerva Loose: $180-250
- Deathsaurus MISB: $250
- Deathsaurus loose: $120
- Liokaiser loose - $180
- Liokaiser MISB - $350
- Thunderwing Loose - $110
- Nightbeat loose - $75
- Nightbeat MIB - $200
- Siren loose - $70
