Today at Garden City....
(I noticed today that every retailer has picked up the Cyberverse Deluxe toys, with Kmart being the best at $29, and all of the others being $39-40.)
BigW - Some Earthrise Deluxe & Voyager (both Starscream and Grapple), plus all four of the latest Studio Series Deluxe. Also, they had 3 cases of the Series 3 Botbots 8-packs, which were only just found in this country a few days ago. Plus the new Cyberverse Deluxe and Ultimates. Plus, a big range of recent DVDs back in stock.

Target - Three size classes of Earthrise - Battlemaster, Deluxe, Voyager.

Myer - Earthrise Micromasters and a single Leader Astrotrain. Knowing Myer, this will probably be the last restock until the mid-year sales.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2020m04.jpg
Kmart - Still no Earthrise toys, or anything new, other than the Rescue Bots 4-pack and a restocking of the regular Rescue Bots figures (which unfortunately, is just a wave of all re-releases). Also unfortunate, is seeing all 9 packs of Botbots 8-packs, having their mystery figure stolen. I'm glad that the second year of multi-packs don't have this same easy-open gimmick, but it still might be a while until we see any of them here.

Kmart Toowong had:
x2 earthrise cliffjumpers
x1 earthrise grapple
at least one of each new studio series deluxe from the 07 camaro bumblebee wave
Big W Runaway Bay has Earthrise 2x Grappel, 1x Starscream
Also full set of Cyberverse Deluxe Wave 1.
Target Runaway Bay has 2x Starscream 3x Grappel. Seems strange to have 2 unless case ratio differed.
Not a toy sighting as such.
There is a brand new MrToys at Springfield Orion. On the main street at the Target end. I haven't been in yet (I managed to get all my early year purchases before the lock downs) so I can't say what is there. But if it is as new as it looks there might be a chance to get all the popular items from February.
Big W Robina has Cyberverse deluxe on CLEARANCE at $12 dollars each (I paid $40 at Toyworld). I thought this must be a pricing error, but it had a real strange tag "Better than half price" which I've never seen before at Big W. this leads me to believe it's intentional....
I took a photo as it seemed too unbelievable, but don't know how to share it.
I'm hoping that will clear Wave 1 leading to Waves 2 and 3 being put out on shelves. At $12 it might be worth getting just for the blast accessories to use on Siege toys
If it is anything like Kmart "clearance" tags, it would mean that they aren't getting anymore stock in, and will delete the line once the current stock sells out.
Thanks SMHFConvoy, that's a great solution. They also had Earthrise Voyager for $39, so it looks like it's 'sale' pricing and not clearance. Also they were overflowing with Cyberverse Deluxes, must have been at least 3 cases worth. They had started putting out other Big W Toy sale items, so I think it must be a tie in.
Toymate Robina has all the Earthrise wave 1 figures (no Leader Optimus left). They also have the Botbots Series 4 Gold Rush games packs.

Looking on the Toymate website, those prices have a very very tiny 99 cents next to each one, which is very deceptive, making everything actually a dollar more expensive than it looks at first glance. It's so tiny, that even in person you have to really get in close to make sure it is 99 or 00, as they are very similar when that small.
Non sighting. What is going on with Earthrise Deluxes? I skipped Ironworks with the idea that as an unknown hr would shelf warm and I could pick him up on sale deep in the recession. When I did some recon earlier in the week I couldn't see him. There were heaps around 2 weeks ago.
For the last few days I have gone hunting and had to resort to Mr Toys (price matched Kmart). While most stores have a few random ER Deluxes they are low in number and could be any character. Really odd. Lots of Voyagers though.
Big W Runaway Bay - Earthrise 3x Voyager Starscream.
Jada Licensed Bumblebee (price wont scan) along with a Kit Knight Rider and Deadpool van
Related but not, Big W Calamvale has closed down.
Looks like it's permanent... :(
BigW had been closing some stores earlier in the year that were under-performing, but this one was a sudden closure, due to a leasing agreement (maybe their rent was due, and decided to pull the plug before paying anymore money to the centre management).
They apparently stopped trading this morning after only just announcing it last night, so there won't be any discount sales to clear out stock that they don't want to transport to other stores.
That was often a go-to store for me for Transformers, as it was a good backup if Garden City sold out fast, and the next nearest stores for me were 20 minutes away.
I guess being a smaller, quieter store may have benefited me with toy hunting, but obviously worked against the store itself.
Ipswich Big W has 4 Hollywood rides 1977 bumblebee, $39.99.
Mr Toys Macgregor have some good stuff, namely SS Megatron and Mixmaster. Also a bunch of earthrise and SS.
Robina Big W has 3x Earthrise Starscream, 3x Grappel
Sorry, i should have posted an image. I hope this works, I'm using using a new URL provider. If it does t come through, they were on the bottom shelf in the main toy sections with all the other TF's. I check again late yesterday arvo, there was still 4.

Picture worked, I’ll just have to hunt.
From the last few days, checking out my nearest stores to see how they are faring after a few weeks of lockdown, limiting what people can buy at the stores, and the number of people who can afford spending on non-essentials...
Target Garden City - almost looks the same as it did a few weeks ago, so nothing new.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2020tg04.jpg
BigW Garden City - also looks about the same, but had the new licensed Jada Bumblebee car for $39.

Kmart Garden City - had the new Rescue Bots Command Trailers for $39 each, and in the licensed cars aisle, they had several Jada Gen1 Optimus trucks for $15.

Coles Sunnybank - had the next issue of the Rescue Bots magazine, with a new toy on the front.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2020c05.jpg
Kmart Sunnybank - also had the Rescue Bots Command Trailers, along with a restock of the mini-racers.

Toyworld Macgregor - had 4 of the Studio Series Voyager TF1 Megatrons, but no Mixmasters. Also one of the few places that currently has several Astrotrains, from both Siege and Earthrise (at least they were both at the same price).

Just noting from one of the photos taken at the Sunnybank Kmart, the Botbots are now on Clearance, which for Kmart means that they are no longer re-stocking those lines.
The single packs were down to $3 (from $5) and the 8-packs were down to $19 (from $25).
They never stocked the 5-packs.
I know that this is a non-sighting, which might seem like a tease, but it lets people in Brisbane know that it is slowly showing up here - at Woolies Garden City, I (finally) found the small Authentics Ratchet toy.
http://toycollectors.com.au/2020ww01.jpg
The strange thing though, is that it's barcode at the register kept scanning as 8 units, totalling $80. It was as if the barcode for Ratchet was in the system as it's master carton barcode, so a supervisor had to be called over to fix it.
It had me freaking out for a second when the register screen said $120, for just a handful of items.
When they fixed it and I paid the actual amount of about $50, they apologised for the error... at which time I remembered something and asked half-heartedly - "doesn't this mean it should have been free?"
The supervisor said yes without hesitation, and offered my money back.
I didn't really care, since I had already paid for it, and it was just $10, but since the supervisor was offering it (instead of the usual resistance you normally get chasing up a refund), I said, okay.
So Ratchet started off being an $80 toy, but ended up being free.
Off topic; That's the scanning policy. Supermarkets are under a bit of auditable scrutiny at the moment because a lot of staff either don't know the policy or refuse to use it. It's company money, not yours; just do your job.
Can you do me a favour (even though I work for Coles lol); do a customer feedback.
https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/p...-faq?faq_id=40
If you explicitly mention that there was a scanning problem in like "initially the team members didn't offer my item for free, but when questioned the supervisor happily oblidged. This should be second nature and not have to be bought up by the customer" kind of words, that reaches the bosses up top who put the emphasis on how team members should react at all times, especially the customer service manager.
Computers muck up, but they're only as good as the users.
I had the thing happen with a Ratchet. I didn't know you could assign a quantity to a barcode until I saw it before my eyes. They didn't offer it for free, but I was happy with the $10 final price. It's a REALLY fun toy and so easy to transform (arm articulation sucks though), but I'm still hunting for the soundwave in this Wave that others have sighted
Soundwave is an Alpha (large size) Authentics... and I don't think we have a regular source for them anymore in Australia.
Reject Shop had the large size in last year, which had the 2nd wave Megatron, but if they were being sold off to Reject Shop I'd be surprised if Hasbro were going to bring in more for us to see Soundwave in wave 3.
At Coles Sunnybank on Wednesday, a new issue of the Rescue Bots kids magazine from the UK, but not with free Boulder toy that was supposed to come out this month.
This issue had two random freebie items on the front, which would make it annoying for collectors who are wanting to collect everything.
One was a sticker book in the shape of Heatwave, which I had seen before, so some of these might be random items that get packed in several times over the years.
One free freebie looked nice though, being a nice mini-vehicle 2-pack of Heatwave and Chase. If they were going to have a full set of characters done this way, it would be a nice collection, but would be expensive to have to buy the magazines for them.

Garden City Myer has an Earthrise Prime. The race is on...
Carindale has 7.
Big W MacArthur has a SS Soundwave and 2 SS Long Haul if anyone's looking. Oh and ER Grapple X 4.
I found 3 golden lagoon sets $129 and 2 golden lagoon starscream $79.99 in Ipswich toy world in the model section if anyone is still chasing those.
Studio Series Deluxe Roadbuster, Jeep Bumblebee and Jet Shatter at Big W Garden City - $29
They started putting out all the toy sale items (but no Sky Lynx, Voyagers and Leaders yet)
Skylynx now at Garden City BigW. Look for them as they have only just unboxed 10 of them (9 now), and haven't put them in a spot yet.
Photo when I get home.
Of all the people to get one early... congrats! (Nothing at the local in VIC)
Hehehe, I know right. It's ironic, I'm probably one of the first fans in the world to own it, but it isn't a toy that I'm really really really excited about because I played with it a fair bit at Toyfair in March. I still wanted it, and didn't want to risk missing out on this first release, as I'd then have to wait until September for the regular release if BigW's stock sells out before the sale starts in 2 weeks time.
The photos from BigW...

I'll be there Tuesday and if they have, I'll put one on layby. That way, if they do have stock for the sale, I can buy one to pick up and just cancel my layby.
