Red Wing? Wow, um. So is the name a reference to something or?
Should have called him Spicy Wing, ha. Or Nacelle, Hotlink and Bitstream's buddy.
Wow. The effort they put into that name astounds me.
you can tell the creative minds here are at there absolute best ;)
though i do admit it does look rather cool
If the character ever makes it to an cartoon/animation level they'd better give him a Russian accent :D
"My name is Starscream, and the Autobots will cower in fear at my deathcry from above."
"I am Thundercracker, for I shall strike with the decibels of sonic booms."
"The name's Skywarp, and I'll psyche out the bots with my teleportation."
"And I'm Red Wing. My... er... wings are... red. Sigh... I'm never getting a toy, am I?"
(I'm guessing he gets killed in the issue and it's a parody of Star Trek red shirts. If not, it's truly a bad name.)
It's hard to tell if he's destroyed or not, as the colouring in the comic is very simple and vague.
I didn't even notice that there was a 4th seeker in the comic until this made "news".

On the next page a seeker is shot in the back, but it is difficult to tell if it was orange or red, and it isn't obvious that he is dead.
If it was a Star Trek gag, the name makes sense... but as a Transformers name, is kinda lame. (and should we be homaging another franchise with our characters?)
hahaha, the follow up comments from folks on this thread are most amusing. :D
And we all know that the purple wings are the red shirts of the Decepticon G1 Seekers anyway. ;)
HAHAHA totally, "vhere are the nuclear Wessels?";)
I bet he's a Subscription figure, or part of a 3 pack of troop builders for next years botcon.
the whole shattered glass concept is a bit of a parody of the Star Trek Mirror universe, so I guess it's just another nod.
I personally don't mind nods to other science fiction in transformers fiction, as long as it's subtle and not too often.
I think the artwork and colouring is beautiful, either way.
I hope weget a figure soon. The classics mould doesn't get used nearly enough as it should be.
