Details of the listing (from here) are - released Febuary 4th from Amazon, for US$60.
It is said to be "exclusive" to Amazon (in America), so even if that is true, it might be released in other countries as well. There is a Japanese Movie figure coming out next month as well, so this is likely to be it too.
(this is like the preview figures of the first wave - an advance figure to get the hype momentum rolling among fans, retailers and maybe even the media)

Shame the base figure looks pretty meh. Now it is just pretty meh.
I don't understand why people are saying this figure is meh. To me it looks like a pretty solid reinterpretation of movie Prime. It has decent articulation and sculpting, and I like the fact that the accessories are a sword and shield rather than just moar gunz!!!!!11!! Is it just the backpack people can't stand, or is there some other element of the toy that's turning everyone off that I'm missing?
Unless I'm viewing the toy wrong. To me he just looks like he has a kibble capsule and everything just folds on top of him to turn him into a truck. Very flat looking character, either way can't judge it properly till I see one in person.Quote:
