So I got BiS Rodimus and Cyclonus today on special. Not sure if I wanna keep them as well as my Classics/Universe versions, or get rid of a pair. Anyway, hypothetically speaking, if I were to get rid of a set, which should it be?

I would keep both. An armada for Cyclonus and a Hot Rod since my classics got some armour.
Well, I practically bought the BIS pack to justify buying the armour for my classics rodimus... and I will have a Cyclonus and his armada.
erm the thing is we are forgetting this is Gok btw guys, he doesnt buy unofficial stuff so he doesnt have the 3rd Party Protector Armor ( unless someone gives it to him) so if ever you keep both, the RTS would be better off in Alt mode as he is darn too bright. Cyclonus wise- well it depends on which color scheme you prefer to be put in as the "Armada" and which to be Cyclonus.
I was actually thinking Classics Rodimus would look better displayed in alt mode as the RtS one seems plain and has those painted-in windows, whereas Classics Rodimus has more extensive flame decos and clear windows.

The BiS Matrix is shinier than the New Year Convoy Matrix. Otherwise they're the same (even the copyright stampage is the same, marked '02)

Well, If you don't have Protector then keep Classics Rodimus (Ihave protector so now BIS Rodimus is my Hot Rod) because as nice as he looks his plastic feels cheaper and a bit fragile. Clearly Cyclonus is the Jewel of that set!
I did notice a lot of the ones on the shelf had stress marks in the left elbow of the rodimus when I was picking mine.
Also some looked as if they had been dropped in the factory, onto a really hard floor, dinged corners and scratched paint...

I would keep the Classics one, it's color is much more vintage toy accurate and although the RTS one is brighter, I wouldn't call it more accurate to the cartoon.
I own a Reprolabelled Classics Hotrod and a Henkei Hot Rodimus. Since the Henkei one looks more 'majestic' due to the chrome, I upgraded him with the Protector armor with the Side Arm chrome spoiler extensions.

I put my RtS Cyclonus with my animated today and apart from being a bit 'squarer' then the rounded animateds the paint job lets him fit in well.

Keep both Rodimus. Worse case scenario you own 2. Maybe i'll buy you a protector armour for your birthday.
