The robot mode is a bit like the game starscream, but the jet mode looks wrong... especially with those over-sized guns on the wings looking like the 2007 Movie starscream.
I think it would have been surprising to NOT have WFC/FOC seekers, but why do we have to wait until 2013... a whole year away.

...here's hoping we don't have to wait another half a decade before they give us repaints of this mould as Skywarp and Thundercracker (I'd happily collect repaints as Ramjet, Dirge and Thrust too w/o any conehead retool).
Yeah seen that today while I was there and it does look good.
Also still no word on Grimlock though even though a few people asked the panel.
Does it show the Asian exclusives as well? Some more redecos of previous molds into other characters from the G1 line. And I dont have my camera onhand to post those pics either.

I like it too, it is certainly a very nice sculpt. I would go as far as to say that it even looks better than the game character model.
Not liking the canons but they may be removable.

I hope that the details are retained once this reaches full production; it's a shame we'll have to wait for quite a while but I think in this guy's case, as well as the nigh-guaranteed repaints, I think it'll be well worth it. :D

The new toy gets a thread. The repaints and new heads don't. But surely you knew they'd be no new toys to be revealed for this year that aren't TF:Prime? The tease of a FOC toy from Autumn 2013 is a bit tough on the fans eager for more new Generations, so some repaints are an acceptable compromise. It's entirely a new "Universe" line for Asia. :)
aaaah ok , now I see why they changed his appearance in the current comics (TF RID). It's to match this upcoming toy.... hmmm I wonder if any of those appearing in the comics are designs that are now translations or will be of what the (upcoming) toys will be looking? It would be a fun wait and see who gets a toy done and if it will follow the comics look.... since they've adapted Bbee's "cybetronian" look now in the comics as well which we all know was reissued earlier as a toy (toy came first heheheh, right Gok?)... Id like to see em all IMO, Prowl's and ironhide's are awesome (cybetronian mode). Since all toys for WFC/FOC are deluxes, it would be best if this Starscream maintains that size. It would display badly if he towers over Megatron or Prime.Quote:
