WWE can pretty much write any story line they want and it will be believable dude to him being a legit heavyweight fighting champion and badass
Surprised at his return... man I remember seeing him on smackdown superplexin big show and the ring collapsed that was awesome as it was totally unexpected.
I remember him doing a shooting star press right on his head one year at mania.
That was awesome! His rise to fame was epic
Gotta give a 300 pound guy credit for even trying it. Apparently he did it often in ovw back when he was in developmental. Doctors said his neck saved him in that instance. Good thing he's a monster!
Who? Wouldnt know him if I tripped over them!
I didn't like the way he was handled in the UFC... but thats not really Lesnar's fault. Although his antics after winnning the heavyweight title were disgraceful. I don't watch much WWE these days as it seems to have a very wash/rinse/repeat feel to it. I hope he can change that.
This pretty much sums up my feelings towards Lesnar, just wish I could find a better Taker video. :p
I've never really been a fan of him personally; He's good at what he does, don't get me wrong, but he's no Taker.
Not a big WWE or wrestling fan but knew of Brock Lesnar just like The Rock was one of those big name personalities.
I watched him during his UFC career but I'm surprised he is returning to wrestling. After his less-than-self performance against Alistair and his retirement announcement straight after due to health reasons, surely he doesn't need the money or risk?
He's returning to WWE because it will be a lighter workload.
Which was why he left WWE in the first place.
Legit MMA isn't as easy as he thought.
the lighter schedules in wwe is much less risk than mma training camps.
I don't think he thought mma was easy by any mean, he did very well through his time there, you have to remember though he was an all america wrestling champion, he had little combat experience, ie he was very green compared to a guy like overeem ( who has had i think 40 odd pro fight and countless amateur, and is one of the stronger kick boxers in the world) so its not overly suprising he lost. Also remember he went down due to a heavy body shot to the area he had 12 inches of his colon removed (they would have had to cut through a lot of muscle to do this) he didn't loose due to punches.
By all means I thought he did very well, considering what like 5 fights in he became a champion beating the likes of veterans and UFC HOF like Randy Coutre and making Frank Mir his whipping boy.
Overeem is a veteran fighter too, though I wonder if his recent doping results before the championship fight against Junior Dos Santos puts an asterisk on his win against Lesnar.
I saw that fight and that kick was damaging against anyone let alone some one who had numerous surgeries against a life threatening condition.
Somehow a body slam to the canvas can't be good to the mid-section for Lesnar not matter how controlled or orchestrated the move is.
