Japan?

Hey guys, I've been reading alot of threads and noticed alot of forum members go to Japan. I was just curious what is the purpose of most peoples visit (work, family, holiday)?

I haven't gone .... yet. I want to go to see all the good stuff Im hearing and reading about. If ever I'd go mostly for holiday reasons..... of course getting TF stuff on the priority as well hehehe

The main reason i go is for the hypermarket and electronics store music!

I usually go for the Melon pan and coffee

I head down yearly with friends or by myself and relax in beppu, enjoying the hot springs and ramen, and i usually finish my trip around tokyo, namely akihabara electronic and hobby shopping district. I go when its summer here, as i prefer winter all yr round when possible.

Used to live there, went to see old friends, tf shopping and show the gf around the sites (i never shut up about it there)

I was joking but if I was ever in a position to re-marry, that's where I would meet my second wife.

To meet other Transformers fans, talk about Transformers and buy Transformers. :)

IMO the best thing about going to any Transformers meet, local, interstate or international, is socialising with fellow fans. Sure, getting toys is good too -- but interaction with fellow fans is always the highlight of any meet for me. :D

I'm an ESL teacher and I live here. So, basically it's work for me.
The cheap/abundant beer, easy-to-find/cheap TFs, and pretty women help keep me here too of course;), but I'm mostly here to do my job.
