TransWarp: Csirac - Issue #1
-
-
Impressive. Most impressive.
-
Thanks Lads.
I didn't do the Artwork by the way. It was done by an Aussie, nay, a fellow Tasmanian actually. Goes by the name of Quickmixed on Seibertron on DA. I don't believe he's a member here.
The only artwork I'll actually contribute to the entire 22-page project is that Great War-era Maximal Logo in the top corner.

Impressive that your project is coming along nicely and isn't in the forgotten realms :)

Pretty cool work there.
I've been meaning to read your work, I did read a bit when I first joined here and I enjoyed it, but haven't been able to get back to it. Might make an effort over the next few weeks.
Hope it goes well for you!

It's a pretty slow and arduous process. The reason the Cover (which is also Page 17) is done is because the artist did both the inking and colouring. Every other page is being inked and coloured by different people, so it slowly down the whole process.
But it's coming along.

Thanks for the update - I am happy for you!
* high fives Verno *

Cheers Sam.
I'm about to send you a link on DeviantArt...

That cover art tease is very impressive Verno! I've only had the time to read some of the bio's you've written, but will be catching up with the rest soon.
An end of year deadline sounds great! Would be a great breather in between the xmas rush period :)
-
I'll be posting this on some International boards later, but I thought I'd give the Home Crowd a taste first: Page 17!

Read through the first 3 pages of your 'Spotlights' from late last year :) More work for tomorrow.
-
I'm glad those stories are seeing the light of day :p
-
I'm attempting to make the Comic as 'real' as possible, so for a normal Comic Issue, on the inside of the Cover you have the Index or Intro Page, so here it is:

I'm happy to answer questions about the exact nature of the 'Transversal Continuity' and what events make up said universe.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!

You don't know how utterly excited & pleased for you I am Verno, that your scriptures are finally being realised in a visual form.:cool:
Congrats & well done to you and the artists involved, do keep us posted on the future developments. :D

Does a creepy purple Predacon that laughs with a "Tihihehehe..." sound familiar at all?

It's also really good to put a face to Csirac's name too. :D

It is fantastic to see how you have been progressing this Verno. Looking mouth-wateringly great so far. :thumbsup
-
Thanks Lads!
I'm hoping the opening scene might be complete soon. It's in the final stages of being coloured as we speak. I'll spread it around to try and generate some more interest in the comic.

Loving the artwork! It looks much better than the MTMTE Annual (non-flashback parts :p) or the FOC Prequel :)

I'm glad you like it! IQ40's stuff is simply phenomenal!
My hope is that people enjoy the story as well. There are 3 more Issue of the Csirac story to come after this one, then two for TransWarp: Ravage and one for TransWarp: Primal. But one thing at a time, I've got to get Issue #1 finished first.
However, Transformers: The Lost Seasons (a Fan-Art Comic Project on DA) is looking at perhaps taking on the Ravage story. I'd be delighted if they did!

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen,
It gives me a great amount of pleasure to show to you the opening scene of Issue #1 of TransWarp: Csirac!
The scene is set during the Beast Wars, and takes place just after the events of the Season 2 episode Coming of the Fuzors Part 2, when Rhinox uses an odd machine to travel into the Allspark and retrieve the Spark of Optimus Primal who was killed when the Planet Buster Moon exploded.
So enjoy Pages 1-4!
http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/200H...vc-d5exe2k.jpg http://th05.deviantart.net/fs70/200H...vc-d5exeus.jpg http://th08.deviantart.net/fs71/200H...vc-d5f5veb.jpg http://th00.deviantart.net/fs71/200H...vc-d5e5ttw.jpg
After this scene, the story jumps back to the end of the Great War, where it remains for the remainder of the story. The decision to include a scene such as this was made to try and tie the Csirac story firmly to established canon. Though this scene never appeared in the show, the use of the odd device was, and plays an important part in the Csirac story later on.
The Line Art for these pages was done by OTCA member Sam, who goes by Wildspark on deviantART, so a big thank you to him!
I hope you enjoy, I'm happy to answer any queries about the scene or the story at large.
And stay tuned, more of Issue #1 will be coming soon!

Hey Verno, thanks so much for sharing these. :)
Micgrol's colours and M3Gr1ml0ck's letters really added life to the lines!
I can't wait to see how the rest of your story goes, exciting stuff!

G'Day Sam.
Thank YOU for being a part of it! When you showed me the first sketch of Primal I knew I was in pretty safe hands. Yes you based the characters off the toys, but then so did Mainframe! Haha!
-
Oh man!
@Verno, @Sam; Top bloody work guys seriously - I really can't wait to get my hands on the finished 1st issue (Digitally or Physically ;)), the faithfulness to the source material has always been what has amazed me the most about these Spotlights - Argh! can't wait! :D
-
-
Wow, the artist who did pages 5 and 6 is amazing! Love his lineart and shading.
-
+1 Massive leap forward....Nice work!! (to all involved:))

^Agree with the above two comments. Love the look of those Genericons :D I'll be the first to call on a 3rd Party Ticker, Mangle and badass-looking-evil-Rodimusface guy :p;)
