Perfect Effect has released a retool of its RC mould as well as another take on ROTF Voyager Bludgeon's Pretender head. The retool has a pretty cool bike mode, hopefully that makes it less of a parts-former.

That is an insane motorcycle model! That goes on the must buy list.
I am also interested. It's been a long time since I bought a BW character although I am not sure where she might fit.
I've been really tempted to pick up the verions of arcee, but now if 100% must have for Miss BA!!! OMG this fig looks badass!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite inadvertently breaking my Motorbot due mostly to my own stupidity, I have absolutely no regrets about buying her. Definitely PE's best product yet, so this repaint is just different enough to entice me.
Classics Blackarachnia! If Lugnut can exist in the classicsverse so can Blackarachnia.
Definately keen. Want to see some colour shots though.
Some promising coloured pics of PE-DX02 Motobot 'Aranea' not-Blackarachnia:

Looks like the backpack can be deployed to make a spider drone:

Yeah, so bought.
I love RC so Aranea is a must buy!
Bought, bought, bought, bought, bought, bought, bought, bought, bought!
According to RKs Facebook page preorders are up and they are jumping on the early bird bandwagon by the sound of it. $79.90 if preordered before 15 March, $89.90 normal price. April release.
You know, in light of recent 3P releases, that is a lot of money for such a small figure that is ~80% an existing mold. When you consider that FP are pumping similar size figures out for ~$60. And this is the RK price. Wonder how much different BBTS price will be.
Ill have to think about this…
PE seems to have always charged more for their products (usually very small). Historically RK has usually brought out better prices than BBTS though. How is the Motobot mould compared with Deluxes and FP Warbots?
IMO it's easily on par with SteelCore as far as quality goes. It is a great little figure, but that's just it. It's little. And the early bird price on this is the same price I paid for SteelCore, which is a lot more toy. And Assaulter was $95, and he is massive compared to RC.
I just think Perfect Effect are being a bit greedy here.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed with the end price of Not-Arachnia, with the sheer volume of other 3rd Party products coming up who's prices are comparable but with 'more toy'? - Sadly I may end up just skipping her which is a shame because I really wanted her (Just not at that price). :(
Oh man, i'm going to be buying SO MANY 3rd party toys this year. :(
At the RK discount price it's $5 more than Motorbot for a deluxe size toy, thin though it may be. So I don't really know what the big deal about the price is. it's comparable to most third parties around in terms of cost for a combination of Size, quality and engineering, and better value than some.
Of course it's not quite as good value as and FP product, but what third party product is?
For a third-party toy, this looks good. I like the drone. http://www.robotkingdom.com/services...&lang=us&CatID
Yeah she looks amazing. I wonder what the chances of a second release in a Beast Wars colour scheme are? *fingers crossed*
New pics of the Bludgeon/Megatron/Overlord add-on kits at tformers.com.
Looks nice, though I'll need to see some reviews before biting I think...not totally sure about the face/head.
I think that was HeadRobots rather than PE.;)
That said, I know what you mean...I've been looking forward to that Mindwipe kit (and the Skullgrin kit as well) for a while. Heck, there's even a lonely Kingbat waiting to join Team Mindwipe, since it was the same price to get it with a Ninja/Rosanna as it was to get one on her own.
I must admit these upgraded faces for Bludgeon do look more detailed and less silly that the Headrobots one, however there is only so much you can do with that mold, even though Hasbro seem to insist on reusing it over and over again.
So yeah, the PE Bludgeon kit is apparently out in Hong Kong.
