...the clever thing for Hasbro to do is to make Rumble purple/blue to appease the FIRRIB fans. ;) Hmm... as a RIRFIB fan I maybe shooting myself in the foot here. Mebbe I should get the TakTOM version just in case Hasbro goes FIRRIB.

I'm really excited for all these cassettes - considering the originals are so good, it's really impressive that they have at the very least considerably improved the accuracy.
There hasn't really been a transformer at this size since the originals that has had the benefit of todays engineering.
The Universe Ravage that came with Hound had the advantage of a wider stance, but lacked heaps of articulation compared to the original.
Ah cool! If they're starting to release add on stuff to other MP's, let's hope for some Ultra Magnus armour too!

Welp, sorry wallet, looks like I'm picking up MP Soundwave and his little friends.
Wait, are they are dedicating MP 15 and 16 to just soundwave's cassettes? I'm actually angry about this, they should just release them as one MP set not 2. Not only that, i always thought masterpiece's were reserved for important individual characters not small group based characters. I was hoping that Ironhide or Ratchet's igear versions where going to be announced as the next takara tomy MP's, but guess that wont be happening.:mad:

Yeh i'm well aware that some characters aren't as unique as others, but at least sideswipe and red alert are there own characters (red alert should just be MP-12A or something), they're not based on a team. Ravage, buzzsaw, frenzy and rumble, are just soundwave's underlings. I dont think they are worthy of a masterpiece in their own right.
There's never been a lot of continuity to the Masterpiece line, except repaints, except MP-5 Megatron...
I'd expect eHobby to release a Cobalt Sentries set in about 6 months as well. Not so sure about Kiss Players or their other variants.
I would love to see takara try out some other characters, maybe some masterpiece's from beast wars, would love to see a masterpiece version of tigerhawk or dinobot.

Yes i've seen you mention that in another thread, that too would be awesome, and i would of expected a g1 version of bumblebee masterpiece by now, cant believe the movie bumblebee beat g1 at getting a MP release. But i fear with MP15 and MP16, we might see future releases of MP splitting up characters and teams, e.g. combiners (if they are ever considered to be released as mp's), and cause most jap MP's have to be imported, importing extra boxes cost money and takes up space.Quote:
