Bugger that. I saw someone selling a complete set of Binaltechs for about 8-900AUD - sif I'd spend that on crummy plastic Alternators! :p

it's still a good lot though to invest in. binaltech may be too expensive for some collectors and has limited varieties

If people are willing to try a group buy again I would be interested in one of the Shockblasts and the Rumble and Ravage Jaguar XK.

Looks like George's question about shipping got answered... but $150 US shipping to Australia seems really cheap for 29 toys!
That works out just to US $5.20 per toy (plus the postage to you from where ever the lot arrives).
Say we all pay US$20 for each Alternator that gives us a minimum bid of USD $580 and several of these Alternators are worth more than US$20!
I'll put my hand up to help organise and bid, but there's no way I could handle getting 29 alternators delivered to my PO BOX!

Hope Paul will be able to determine the estimate although there are eight more figures to be allocated to
OMG! I have a feeling the person that placed the $600 bid lurks in our midst! and the current winning bidder probably also felt that inclined :(

I think this is going to end up selling quite high.
At the moment I wouldn't rule out being able to just make a higher bid, I'm just waiting on the max prices Borgeman, STL, Trailer Park Ninja and Eidan are willing to pay for the toys they expressed interest in.

Ok just an update on this.
The Ebay auction has still stalled with no higher prices, but taking into account everyone's max bids and with no takers for several of the Alternators still up for grabs, we don't have enough to make a higher bid :(
