Dunno what it is, so the advertising and hype isn't all that effective...
that web page doesn't do much to inform me either.
Never heard of it either... so i signed up... i expect my inbox to be filled to the brink in the next 5 days, 10 hours, 37 minutes and 2 seconds....
we'll see.:)
I expect a Catch of the Day scenario of good discounts and low stock.
Anything good come out of this TF's wise?
and most likely the entire website will crap itself
As I said in the other thread, I think there's a chance of some of the sites falling over.
When it comes to TFs, not many local retail stores have good online stores. I recall some not being specific about which toy in a wave you're buying, or only limited stock online. Lego might be a bit better.
I was going to look to see if any sites have good DVD/Bluray deals, and if I'm lucky a good saving on the tablet I want to buy would be great.
hasn't loaded for me for 26 minutes now.
I don't think the server is ready for the amount of traffic that it will get.
Yeah, not working for me either. Not receiving any ping either.
I got on very very briefly a few minutes ago - it took me to the main index, I clicked into the 'Toys' section (or some such) and... crashed again.:)
They should have called it "The sale that stops our website" instead. :)
Ensuring server load balancing is like one of the first key considerations when it comes to technical infrastructure planning for a website....
Similar thing happened last week when every Year 8 student in NSW took the ESSA test online. *sigh*
Well, as the news just said - the site crashed even before it could officially go full throttle. :p:p:p Why am I not surprised!?
I just went there for the first time tonight and all there is is a small line of text at the top of the page that says "Service not Available.":rolleyes::D Not surprised.
looks like the collector club aren't the only ones, though the scale here is probably slightly higher:p
the developer never tested if it could really handle the traffic :)
All hype. What's funny is that their fb page is saying that it's not true and thousands are saving money.

try their fb page, maybe the links there will give you more luck.

I'll put my faith in Facebook to hold up thanks for the link.
I do feel a bit bad for the team behind the website who'll be going through pain. I've had a website fail under unexpected pressure before and that's a bad feeling. Guess the interest was bigger than they expected. Probably because a lot of people who were casually interested never registered.
What a massive crock of sh#t. And the response from their PR team just smacks of arrogance.
All I've found so far is a $30 Optimus Maximus.
Edit: And I collect Cyberverse stuff and I wouldn't buy that piece of sh-t.
Juts having a look here, I wonder about the sales. They have an Air Swimmer remote control half price. For $30.00.
So far that I have seen of these, thats regular retail...
There are ok prices there when compared to local retail but it isn't that much when compared to international prices plus stock is very limited.
Not worth the hype.
Yup. Typical aussie workmanship right there.
Hell yeah Goki, well done mate! :p:D

Works for me. But i don't have any cash anyway....
Ha ha ha! I await the crash.
Actually it probably won't happen coz no-one cares anymore :p
Another one today. No TF sale I think.
