I could not stand the plastic cheap look of Prime so I thought I would give him a paint job. At first it was just going to be a few small details. But ended up almost painting it all.

Think he looks a lot better. Still not sure about removing the spikes. Guess it depends on if he ever had them on the show. Also would like to replace the head one day.
it would also be really good if you turned that awful clear green (chest) to blue.

I think blue windows would be worth losing their transparency.
you can try clear blue paint ....it might be able to tint it blue ...
So far we haven't seen Prime's gut talons on screen. I don't like them and plan on doing away with them but you should do what you want, 'cause it's your custom. Nice job BTW :)
Thanks all. I might try the clear blue first. See how that goes over a clear green. As for the spikes. I might wait and see if they are ever in the show. Like the waiting to see a vehicle mode. Or Predakings robot mode:-)

Okay I have now put a new head on prime. Took it from a Last years voyager Prime. This head is ball jointed. So has full range of movement. Still need to add some paint to it. While the head is small its still about the same size as his original head.
What you all think?

Another new pic. Turns out blue Windows do look better than snot green. Painted up the new head. Just have to put the wings back on.

Looks much better. Would have been cool to see some before and after comparison shots. ;)
Did something new with the Windows. Tinted them blue. While indoors they look blue. Get some light happening and you see the green.
Please tell me what you think. Is it better than before?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have spikes (sorry if this counts as a spoiler:(;)) but I may be wrong. Also note UM's alt mode is revealed in episode 5 as well. :D:cool:
Acutally he does have spike ...but flat ones that go up instead of down on the front bumper...i can post pic if you like,,,,Quote:

Thanks :-) as for the spikes. I just chopped them off with a knife and sanded them a bit. Was so so easy to do. :-)

Now if you don't like how the green shines through when theres light going through the windows, paint both sides clear blue.
