damn it! I am not sure if Ratbat warrants another MP Soundwave mold or if I need one in my collection but if I wait too long, an individual Ratbat on ebay is likely to cost as much as the retail cost of the two.

Makes sense. A "black repaint of Soundwave" would have some appeal to collectors, adding in Ratbat though more than doubles the interest! I doubt Hasbro would release Soundblaster. I wonder if they'd could find another way to release Ratbat?

I'm not going to buy MP Soundblaster just for Ratbat... that's just daft (IMO). Makes me glad that MP Soundwave is compatible w/ the G1 cassettes -- if I ever feel the urge for my MP Soundwave to have Ratbat, Slugfest, Overkill, Beastbox or Squawktalk, I can just use my G1s! :D Having said that, I think this is a good idea for a repaint, even if it doesn't personally interest me.
How about releasing Ratbat with their own unique repaints of existing MP Cassette moulds? That way they could have:Quote:

These Cassettes probably wouldn't sell well individually, but they could lump some of them in a single combined pack and reckon it'd sell. Maybe pick Ratbat plus another four or five of them.

I'm kinda tempted to get this, as I like Soundblaster and would love Ratbat. Still, have to get Soundwave with the other 5 cassettes in November. ;)

I say let them improve on the Ravage MP mould as that toy is warranting some serious articulation and pair it up with Ratbat as a 2 pack. The 3rd parties have been puking out a lot of the cassettron versions (KFC) lately, well articulated looking G1 versions, not much MP looking.

Would love an MP Ratbat but I am not going to buy a Soundblaster for the pleasure. Besides which most of the MP cassettes are not terribly inspiring. I'm talking to you MP Ravage.

Hell, if I didn't buy FOC Soundwave to just get Laserbeak (I went the Soundblaster & Buzzsaw option), there's no way I'm getting MP Soundblaster just for Ratbat!

Getting a KO Ratbat isn't going to affect TakaraTOMY one iota. All it's going to do is potentially further harm other fans by sustaining the illegal counterfeit industry which aims to deceive collectors.
