Not bad, but I thought this co had already made a Wheelie figure

Wasn't there another company that made something similar but in limited quantities?
It's great to have these independents churning out molds of our favorite characters but the pace they're being thrown out on the market makes it hard to keep up with :p
All I'm asking is that it be small enough to sit on top of MP Grimlock.
I do remember a Superalloy release which was a diecast upscaled copy of a plastic wheelie that might have been made by xtransbots (it sounds familiar anyway).
Yeah X-Transbot did have a previous Wheelie - they must really like their Wheelies.
This one does have a nicer Headmasters Anime finish. Wonder if it scales well with Fansproject's Function-X line? If so, would look great as not-Weirdwolf, not-Mindwipe and not-Skullcruncher's hostage!
X-Transbots official site says he'll be 4.64 inches tall. About half an inch shorter than the previous Wheelie effort, X2 Survivor.
While looking at pics I found this. Looks like a giant G1 Grimlock. Its not MP Grimlock its something I have never seen before.

Hmmm I have that wheelie, but it didn't come with the slingshot weapon
I am a big Wheelie fan but this is still no dice from me. He does look better than their last effort though.
Bloody hell, I just want the Turbo iteration that they're doing :D - Hopefully they'll offer them up singularly otherwise I might have to try and go halves with someone else on the pairing. :o
Ooh! - You're right, they have!
Hmm... might hold out though for the time being to see if Chimungmung lists them individually, as one might save a little on the overall cost due to geographical proximity. ;)
Thanks for bring that to my attention though man. ;)
Wheelie was a bit bigger than Daniel in the Headmasters, so he'd be pretty small as an MP, and he'd have to be able to sit on Grimlock.
If anyone is still undecided, here are some prototype pics to further convince you.

I like it, but just wondering whether it will have an MP or Classics style finish when we see it in colour.

it's cool, but I'm not sure my MP shelf needs a Wheelie. I think I'd like a smaller CHUG one.
Glad they changed the design instead of ripping it off from the Jizaitoys, I measured the Jazaitoy wheelie and its roughly the same height (4.55 inches) as this Transbot Wheelie
Impressive. He actually looks really good in robot mode.

Here you go guys, a video review of him
