HOLY SHEEAT. IT WILL BE MINE.
That's a sleek alt mode he has there, looks perfect. The chest/torso is spot on as well. And here I was thinking of ordering Henkei Jetfire. :p;)
Wow. Just wow. More money I don't have lol
Sold !!!!
Wow, and here I thought we would never get anything better than Classics Jetfire
Goddammit! I was trying not to buy TF's this year!
Whoa......f&$@!!!!!!!!!
Size?
Going from the pics, I kinda still like the old version better. I think it's mostly the alt-mode. The pics look fantastic, but I kinda dig the more sci-fi style of the Voyager.
Glad to see they're starting to do Leader-class Generations stuff though, and if there's a good retool into a character I don't have and want I'll happily grab that instead.

It's Leader Class, so robot mode should be approx. 25cm tall.
Nice
Inc third party there will be an awful lot of jetfire/skyfire in 2014 ;)
It's this real? It's got 'class action suit' written on all over it if Harmony Gold gets wind of it?
I hope it's real as it looks awesome and nicely redeems official toys by telling us that Hasbro can indeed make something fans (and kids) want.
...Having said that, I do see weird things like false cockpit chest and possible 'robot with plane backpack that folds in' engineering like Universe Silverbolt - That is a bit concerning.
I'd assume to attempt to please both camps; consequently probably pleasing no-one
To me it looks like a tribute of sorts....to the 30 year complication for hasbro that was skyfire :p
When this showed up on the list of leaked figures I said "great Classicsverse Leader Jetfire". Then some punk said "No it's going to be a reissue of ROTF Leader Jetfire". Well guess who got the last laugh.:D
Just looking over the pictures again, he appears to share a lot of transformation similarities with his Classis predecessor
Looks thoroughly awesome.
Very interesting, it looks quite nice, though it still seems to be stuck between the cartoon version and the toy.
I wouldn't have said we needed a new CHUG Jetfire, though he does look nice.
I am so excited he looks awesome.
Since the process to make toys can start years in advance of a product landing on the shelf I'd guess this is a pre-lawsuit design so Hasbro probably got permission. That lawsuit from what I understand stemmed from the GI Joe team not realising they needed to ask permission to do a G1 Jetfire toy. The Transformers team apparently always asked permission first. Only now thanks to the ruling of dismissed with prejudice they no longer need permission at all.
this looks so much better than the current 3rd party crap.
If this is leader size, would this be to scale to Masterpiece I wonder?
Two things I dislike about using the old Jetfire Valkyrie alt mode is that being based on a Tomcat, it makes no sense whatsoever for a Generations Jetfire to be so huge in alt mode.
The other thing being it puts him in direct competition with said Valkyries, and sadly when comparing the ingenuity of such toys the Valkyries always win.
I hope it's legit, as i'd throw money at it asap. But I'm always skeptical when I read "Additional image courtesy of 4Chan including the accessories: ".
Daca toys Titan and Kronos both appear to be progressing well I thought.
The designer seems like a pretty big fan himself and very open to suggestions and advice during the whole production process.
I'm pretty excited to see how these both turn out. And it's pretty cool daca will be releasing an IDW inspired Jetfire and a G1 toon inspired skyfire :)
Happy with the voyager and while I am excited to see Autobots other than Prime and Bumblebee get leader class figures I am unsure why Jetfire was their first choice.
Great looking toy that looks close enough to the IDW version (who hasn't really had much to do of late but guard a cell, a perfect use for one of Cybertrons best and brightest.) so if it happens to get made I hope it sells brilliantly.
This is how Takara Tomy and Hasbro should be combating the 3rd party companies.
That said, I don't have any affinity for Jetfire. I agree it looks great but don't have a place in my collection for it.
I wonder if it'll ever be seen on local shelves.
Its easy to get excited at first glance! but when I had a good look it just seems like a new version of the original classics version, agreeing with some previous posts. The robot looks great, but the jet just doesn't appeal to me so much. I really am looking forward to a cartoon accurate version one day. A
3rd party will beat Hasbro, this is a missed opportunity. Its great for someone who doesn't yet own the classics version can now pick this one up.
Robot Kingdom just posted on Facebook that it will come in a case with another Leader but they cannot reveal until they get authorisation
Looks good so far. I like the fact they've improved the feet since the Classics Voyager. The faux-cockpit chest suggests a significantly different transformation to the previous version, too. Hopefully he won't be too back-heavy.
On the jet design: On the one hand, I get that people would want a more screen-accurate version of the character (Skyfire), but on the other hand, I understand that the Classics line is about updated versions of the toys. The previous version seemed to be a good compromise between the two: the Tomcat body with a squared-off cockpit and nose. I personally think a 'fully' screen-accurate version would have been better, but this design is nonetheless good-looking.
Can we expect a lot of second-hand Classics Jetfires in the next few months? :D
This is a surprise, coming among all the movie/comic toys.
I hope the alt mode is good, and doesn't have robot arms dangling along the side like the Generations one. There's not enough shown to tell how much kibble is on the underside. The side view of the alt mode looks reminiscent of Voyager Dreadwing.
This is a rare case where I don't want screen accuracy. I never did like Skyfire the flying sci-fi box-thing.
Looks like my Voyager Jetfire will be relegated to being a fan-mode combiner with my Voyager Prime.
I'm happy with my Voyager. Would have been excited for a classics Leader Shockwave.
YEAH BOY!!! This news is both the shiz and the nit! :D
Fan-bloody-tastic. Hope it's legit, doesn't get cost-cut to mediocrity and hits our local shelves.
Now i'm all out of bloody wishes
This robot is not looking like valkyrie they cannot bring them to court. There is no gerwalk mode And colours do not match any harmony gold.
I do not dig the plane Mode as that's not the plane I know but the robot mode is great.
Be very interesting to see if a masterpiece of this guy.
