YOTH Optimus to be a Myer exclusive

There are plans for a limited release of this product distributed to Myer stores on the 26th of February 2014.

Unfortunately, we cannot control when the stores put the item on the shelves. For Example; there may be a catalogue that is being distributed that may include this item. Therefore, the product will not go onto the shelves until the catalogue release.

You may need to contact the stores head office to find out when the product will be in store.

Sounds like it. How are Myers with their products, price aside? There are a lot more Myer stores than TRU stores near me, which is good. :)

Is that regarding YOTH OP or FE OP?

I seem to remember Myer are better at running their website than TRU, so it might be easier to get it online.

yoth Op mp-10 replied from Hasbro Aust. I do not know how FE Op ever got into this topic since we are only talking about YOTH. Sorry if I didn't follow the thread.

But thats the info gave by Hasbro and they should have it in Myers but at their own time when they be in stores.

Is still a guestimate when Myers will release it though. If its too high people will just buy off Ebay.

The thread did sidetrack a bit when the TRU listing was later worked out to be the First Edition Optimus, not the YOTH Optimus (which we first thought, because it was listed with Starscream, and we didn't yet know about the Movie one).

A7286 the assortment number is not currently in TrU's systems.

Hang on guys.... The Unicron/Prime 2 park was YOTSNAKE!!! Is this someone getting confused and coincide with the recently sited 2-pack?

That makes sense, as the Unicron/Prime pack has just appeared at Myer.
If Myer are not getting YOTH Optimus, then I wonder if it is coming here at all?

Well my email to Hasbro Australia was subject Year of the horse optimus prime Masterpiece, so if that is wrong information then someone needs to learn how to read.

I will wait and see, however it seems like Myers have not bother to reply any emails.

Is all good dude, just ensuring we all get the right information. The doubt was valid, I would think that as well.

Took my yoth box to myer and it is in the system but no price yet. A toy sale is on 23rd March so might be out for that. Another movie toy is in the system but I want to see if the product code is on the hasbro database first, because it is a 2pack listing I haven't heard about yet.

i contacted their customer service line the other day looking for a price & got told that until it's on show or featured in a catalogue they don't have access to the price. I can only assume that it musn't be in their systems yet, otherwise there'd be a price available

That's what they told me too (in post #18). Until it gets closer to its release, they don't have prices entered into the system... just the product (which the lady showed me on the computer screen).

(moved some posts into a new topic for Gaia Unicron & Optimus at Myer, which left a few posts that made no sense in either topic, which were deleted)

Have we got a catalogue for the latest sale yet, or is it at midnight?

I was told a month ago (see my post above) that a sale was supposed to start today. Maybe it was pushed back, or the staff member was mistaken.

Myer have them, but they are likely to be holding onto them until closer to the movie to cash in on it's publicity to the general public.

I just got the YOTH O.P. M.P.10 arrive at my doorstep from Robot Kingdom.. The toy is distributed by Hasbro Australia. Yes, Hasbro Australia. And is made in Vietnam.. Not a bad price at 129$ u.s.d and shipping is cheap, got it in like 5 days after placing the order, although I am missing the other half of my order, due to it being packed in two boxes... Sighs... One Sunstorm M.P. and one Henkei Decepticon Specialists threee pack, I am sure I'll get it after Easter...

I, like many, waited for a Myer release, I couldn't wait & was ordering of Robot Kingdom, so I bought it.... But it annoys me that Hasbro Australia are shipping these out to other countries before anyone here can even buy one at retail...

I asked in at my local Myer & was told it'll most likely be out for their next toy sale in June/July

I snagged one from Singapore back in early January - was just curious as, between thread splitting, AOE FE OP, the Takara Gaia Unicron pack @ Myer, etc, it had been a bit of time without any news or discussion and a little confusing overall. Cheers for all the responses today.

Yup, I know that, I was taken aback myself so I went to take a photo of the YOTH Masterpeice Optimus and emailed Hasbro Australia again. And yes they verified that it is with Myers for this piece. I also mentioned the unicron gaia as well and they were aware of it.

I think Griffin has already taken the bar-code to Myers and verified.

So, do we have a price yet?

Hopefully it'll go up on the website for those of who live in towns that aren't classy enough for a Myers. :p

It's not Hasbro Australia that is distributing this particular product worldwide. That's a generic blurb found on most items exclusive or otherwise in case Hasbro Australia decides to offer them to retailers here.

This might be my first Myer purchase since the Cybertron (RID) Ultra Magnus and Optimus Prime 2 pack
