What is it with 3rd party companies producing Masterpiece-scaled toys that don't actually fit with the Masterpiece aesthetic? Do they just not get it? (I mean, Badcube and FansToys get it but everyone else? Dunno)
MakeToys haven't made a MP scaled TF yet. I haven't been on TFW for a while so do they say over there what scale it is?
Where does it say they are they MP scale?
Don't worry, found it on the website.
I was surprised when Takara's poll did not include Chromedome since he's considered the field commander in HM. Guess MT must believe that an official MP Chromedome is a long time coming.
Seriously, why is Chromdome so popular? I get Hound and Inferno but there has to be a heap of other TF's to make before Chromedome.
Awesomesauce!
The passenger seat looks like it can almost fit another Headmaster!:eek:!!!
Yup that's an MP style Chromdome alright. :)
I'm more excited about Guardia behind him.
Me three on Guardia, although I do like Chromedome too, but he ain't gonna be cheap at that size.
Pre-orders are up on tfsource.com but waiting to see if it's cheaper somewhere else.
By the looks of it Chimungmung has cheaper shipping

Are both sites in US dollars?
its a good deal for what its worth, and being a maketoys figure im sure its going to be a quality figure. I'd love to get him but i just dont hold that much allegiance and nostalgic feelings with the headmaster series. Having said that if they did a weirdwolf or apeface or snapdragon i might jump on it
Not at all sure how, but it's only $110 at TFi and due June 30!
4 FansProject Headmasters in, and here i am starting all over again. :o
That's just too good a deal to pass up though, and this one looks spot on to the cartoon... can't wait!
Yeah not sure what magic is happening with that $110 price but I put in a pre-order for sure. This line is looking really good.
Great price. I put a preorder in but I'd bet a decent sum of cash that it won't be in on June 30. His dates are always way off.
Other stores are listing dates around July too, and from what i gather on TFW, Maketoys has been pretty good recently with having preorders open up close to release (at least since one of their armour sets showed up more than a year after preorders). So i'm hopeful it's pretty close!
Pre-order done :). Chromedome was one of my first transformers as a kid. Awesome to finally have a new masterpiece version.
Maketoys appear to be a professional outfit and given their links to FansProject the pre-order followed by immediate release seems realistic.
I'm lucky in that I only have the Decepticon F(x)'s... although I do have a forgotten about Madlaw as the sole occupant of my bbts pol.
Pre order at BBTS lists it at 32cm high (9.05 inches)... Do you even math?
But the other point is they have it at $137 USD. Makes me wonder what kind of cut they're making, hopefully tfi's price is correct and there's no adjustments, as I've decided after seeing the not-hardhead digibash I'll jump on the MP scale headmasters bandwagon. Hopefully we see a lot more headmasters, I can dream one day of an MP scale Apeface (or ideally, the thought makes me drool, MP scale Powermasters!). Cupola pics look great, and almost sold me by themselves, and makes me glad I heeld back and never got into function x or totworld's headmasters, even though they're great.
BBTS just got the numbers back to front, Maketoys site lists it as 23cm which is 9 inches :)
Another new pic

That's awesome. Seeing this makes me happy in pre-ordering. Can't wait to see this guy in hand. :)
Also noticed how small it makes their devastator look haha
Me too dammit, and yet I still really want a complete set of FP Headmasters too, the FP toys are just so much fun and take the designs in a different direction, where as these look spot on to the toy/Japanese cartoon design. I dunno I really want both, especially considering the Headmasters and later years of TF toys don't seem to get as much attention as Geewun.
I still hope someone will do Targetmasters, preferably CHUG scale, yet if Maketoys make them MP style and they end up as cool as this guy seems to look, then that could also be awesome.
