What scale are they?
They look like legends scale?
pretty expensive for a couple legends but I'm pretty sure that's a world first sighting. might be worth your trouble buying a couple to peddle at the dealer room at Botcon. They'll only be particularly valuable to you if they don't turn up in the states in the mean time though.
OMG MUST BUY
Yes, they are legends scale, or perhaps a little smaller ? I have them here in front of me but no legends handy to compare with.
TRU Kotara in Newcastle has them as well, and considering we generally get everything weeks later than other TRU's I imagine they should be available in most stores.
I managed to get it posted on one of the Global fansites before anyone else, to make sure you get credited for the images and info... instead of someone just posting up "look at these photos I just found".
A shame about the pricing though, as individual Legions here are $8 or $9... so for the limited status of these, you have to pay $2-4 extra.
And according to the Game App, there is only one Megatronus Legion toy for the foreseeable future... so this Legion Megatronus release is the only one we might see for a while, or at all. Something that shouldn't be a store exclusive on a main toyline.
At Big W (or at least mine) the RiD Legion are $5.
Nice find fatbot! I'm really starting to like the character art on the RID packages. Megatronus reminds me of some kind of moth creature. :p
So about the photos, is that a filter on the photos? Look very old school with the blue tint.
If the exchange rate was better they'd be good trade fodder to take to BotCon.
Oooh... I like that Optimus vs Megatronus set. Hope that comes out here!
It's so nice to see Australia get something first for a change.
They are at toys r us castle hill also. I thought it was first siting
None at Penrith TRU yet, so still a store by store basis.
Oooooh nice find! Finding a new thing is pretty much the only reason I check out stores these days (though the odds of a new item are ridiculous).
Another Australian fan has bought these and posted up some photos here of the toys out of packaging.
The colours are really weird... like Beast Hunters weird.
(except Megatronus, because we don't have a regular version for Hasbro to need to add odd colours to it just to make it different for this store exclusive)
The odd thing about these, and some other RID toys, is that there are multiple scanning codes for the same toy, which are each in the game App as recognisable codes. The Optimus and Megatronus codes on the Allspark link are different to the ones Fatbot posted up... and they are both from the same country. I had thought that the different codes were just because they were from different countries/production runs, but maybe there are multiple codes at the same time, just randomly placed on toys. (which makes no sense, as it means the game App then has to recognise every one of them)
At least the multiple codes means you can earn extra ultra-sparks because one code doesn't prevent you from earning ultra-sparks from the other codes for the same toy. But then, how many different ones are there, as I already have three different codes for Slipstream, and two different codes for 12 other toys.
