Wouldn't be worth it if you waited this long and didn't buy the uw version from pc and releasing soon at this stage.
I wonder how this price at bigw will make tru look.
I think that's great news for those who have missed out.
I do wonder what price they'll stock him at especially given their original price and what other retailers and TRU have been selling him for in the last couple months.

YES! I missed out originally, so super excited to get him this time. Cant afford TRU price tag and with the 3rd Party Upgrade kits, I dont feel the UW or SDCC version to be necessary.

At least if it is in a catalogue and you have a nearby ToysRUs who has Devastator (at $300), take the catalogue to them and they should price-match.
You could even ask at Toyworld if a store near you has them, to see if the manager will price-match.
I don't mean anything bad however the last time we have a catalogue and the toy never made it here in wa with the whole calling around and database not being correct with instances -5 in their system because they record in a book and not in the system.Quote:

Between FB sellers for $195-$220, Toymate/Toyworld's selling the SDCC version, eBay selling the SDCC version for $250 delivered & the upcoming UW04 release, I don't see that much interest for him
I think it will still do well if it's at $198 again, as there were quite a few here who still want one, and would prefer the cheaper domestic option (particularly if a replacement or refund is required on such a large expensive item).
i was in brisbane a couple of weeks ago and the toy world kinda place in the queens st mall had about 5 of the SDCC versions. didn't see the price though.
The SDCC versions are too flashy and a few people may not like it.
Personally I am okay with the Hasbro one if you have not been able to get a UW version cheap. I was going to skip the UW version as I was in the mindset that it was going to be above $50 extra which it is now. It just happened that PC gave such a low price, it was hard not to say no just because we were speculating elbow joints could be a form of weakness.
Bigw imo should have got this prepared and launched this week than 17th.
but there is a saying, better late than never.
Catalogue is out today, and am happy to say Devvy is still at the price point of $198 :)

I spoke to my local big W today, asking if they knew if they were getting stock. Of course, the didn't have a clue as usual, though I was told if they were getting any, it'd only be a couple and if I want one I should be there when the stores open on Thursday. Hopefully other stores aren't as useless as mine, but If you really want one I wouldn't wait too long before going to the store.
Anyone have the Keycode for Devastator?
If you have the Keycode for Devastator you can ask the service desk at your local Big W to look it up for you and they can see what stock is on order, doesn't mean they will get that amount, but it is an indication.
I just have to remind myself when I see it in store that my Devastator is coming from PC. Damn waiting is hard.

Yeah the keycode is a 7 digit number before the item description on your receipt.
I went into my local Big W yesterday and the gentleman at the service desk said they have no idea when it would be coming in stock. He did give me the keycode so I could call other stores. None of my 8 localish store had any at the time, so I assume they must still be coming. The key code is 004 0844.
I also looked at my 2 local Toyworlds and both have him like 3 in stock for $249, but they don't price match.
