I hope Aaron Archer doesn't design Grimlock or otherwise we will get a toy filled with electronic lights and sounds with the transforming level of a basic. Probably a 'flip the head and call it a Dinosaur' sort of thing.
There is the distinct chance that this would be a future encore figure (the shadowed picture is that of Grimlock's G1 box art) but I hope that its an MP as most of us have Grimlocks in fairly good condition to warrant another plus an MP would be much cooler!

I agree with kup, if Hasbro design the concept, it will be anything but a Masterpiece. But I'm not worried. I'd be more interested in an encore Grimlock anyway.
I too would prefer an Encore Grimlock, but I look forward to seeing how MP Grims turns out :)
Any masterpiece addition is a welcome. I'm not sure if it'll be any good but always a start.

Mega Dinobot is a neat concept (i.e.: Dinobot combiner/gestalt) but terribly executed.
A Masterpiece Grimlock - like any toy, would be neat if it were executed well, and we've seen the best and worst of Masterpiece.

:)You could have done what I did when it came to G1 Grimlock, buy him off the shelf brand new when he was released:D, he has only been transformed a couple of times too, so he is nice and tight;).
While I'm quite happy with my G2 Grimlock, I would like an Encore version with the original colours.

Well, my theory in the matter is, assuming MP-7 really is Grimmers, there's going to be more than 2 MPs released this year. If those rumours that a Prime/Megs duo is to be released, then I think that the MP schedule for this year might go something like this:Quote:

I know the Convoy Vs Megatron reissue is being considered by TakTom but is there really that much demand for another Convoy release? Maybe the Movie has got people wanting it again. As for Megatron - he is on clearence currently.
I certainly want another run of MP Prime. I was stupid enough to buy 20th Anniversary Prime in the first place, then tried to remove his burn marks. :mad: Now I keep him in truck mode cause I can't stand to see his de-chromed stomach grill.
I wonder if his eventual Re-release will be G2 Grimlock? :p
I hope the quality for this guy is better than MP05, I'm now happy I skipped him after reading QC and license issues with him.
