I thought they already shut. Dang! Time to visit Aspley and probably northlakes tomorrow. I already bought some lego for presents last week, so am not really expecting much.
Went by TRU Highpoint, they close in 10 days so 5/8/18. Anyone in VIC, if you happen to see the Classics Green, Blue & Yellow Lions of Voltron 84, drop me a line :D
^ I'll keep an eye out. Apart from Highpoint, only Werribee is near enough now that Northland has shut-up shop.
Any mention on % off fixture & fittings? I want to get MLP & Barbie large banners if it's still available.

Parramatta store had 10 days left till closure when I went in yesterday evening (Thursday). Fixtures were 50% off as well.
Only TFs I could see were TLK Berserkers, but it was a bloody mess, so there could have been something else in the debris of toys.

I took a long lunch and went to Marsden Park yesterday. sections of the store closed, most lego gone, I picked up a few things, there were still some ss Thundercrackers and mpm barricades there around mid afternoon.
I can go back out for people but you'll have to cover my toll costs :o
They also had signs up saying 10 days to go.
I was going to head out to Marsden Park today to see if they had any larger LEGO sets left (had them behind the register last time I visited) but their phone just rings out and I’m not wasting a trip out there without knowing!
Guessing by UM post there probably is nothing much left anyway.
Went to Aspley tru, not worth the trip really. Lots of the all plastic generic playsets and a few things around a pretty empty store. Check line was about half the length of the place, so if I wanted something probably an hour wait to just pay for it. That would explain if you tried to call them and they didn't answer, they're too busy.
Anyway, saw two mp barricades, both were open boxes. People suck. One trigger happy sitting on a shelf.
Looks as though they've drawn a line in the sand with remaining stores closing in 10 days time?
Checked out Bankstown NSW today. Closing in 9 more days but nothing much left, mostly TLK dlx Berserkers and a few TLK voy Hounds.
There was a MPM Barricade there, no idea if it will still be there but it was with the plush toys behind an elephant if anyone wants to try for it.
Maybe all remaining stores are closing on the same day as the Garden City store had the same signage.
At the rate it cleared out in the last 7 days, it might not stay open that long. It was almost like 75% of the stock was sent elsewhere during the week, or back to suppliers they still owe money to.
“8 days left” sign at the Fountain Gate (Vic) store. It’s almost empty anyway.
Fixture & fittings in-store flyer also mentions "All reasonable offers will be considered" or something to that affect.
Sign up at Garden City store says 50% off fixtures, so getting desperate now... and they told me that they can't sell anything with their logo still on it, so have to scratch off the logo from things like the baskets (I wanted to buy a basket as a souvenir, but not if the logo is scratched off).
Went in to get a orange safety step and all gone. They had 10 there on Thursday night.:mad:Quote:

I’ve been to three TRU stores in the last 24 hours (Doncaster, Moorabin and Fountain Gate) and each is really down to the dregs of content. Lego sets are gone. Most Transformers have gone - but I’ve seen multiple Titan Master Brawn. The only toyline with a fair bit of stock in all stores has been Star Wars.
Good to see everyone learnt their lesson with Dick Smith and waited until the alt minute to pick anything up at maximum discount. Oh. Wait. No. People didn't do that and starred clearing shelves at 20% and 30% off so the items were still more expensive than other stores.
Werribee TRU has signs up saying “Last 2 Days” today. So looks like they’re closing up earlier than some of the others.
Not surprising. There’s barely anything left in the store at all. The only transformer I could find amongst the scattered remains was a TLK legion Grimlock
Was tempted to buy it as a memento of the store but left it sinfe I already own more than 1 version of that mold

Yeah I saw that at several TRU stores over the past few weeks but sorry not at any over the last two days.
Yeah it was always a long shot that I would get it now. However I did get a couple of Star Wars figures at 50% off so I’m happy with that
